@glayson thank you! I added the reset button to hopefully prevent soft locks, but looks like I missed a spot. I will change Reset to reset the level.

Really fun mechanic and really calming/but not calming music? I liked it.

That last level was tricky! This deserves more plays! Loved it, from the chill music, to the mechanics, to the visuals. Great job!

I have seen this idea many times before. But, this game does it well.
I like it that you stick on top of your clone when you stand on it.

This is a common concept made original and executed well! The music complements the atmosphere well, and the mechanic is intuitive and easy to grasp. Good job! :)

I love the art style and the game was well done but it felt a bit bland gameplay wise, a new mechanic or feature would have done nicely. otherwise nice job!

Fun game! very nice tutorial levels, but I thought the level design could have a bit more clear of a path (or mostly not have dummy path, I spent a while trying to jump up to the exposed platform near the roof of lvl 2 or 3 for example). overall I gave it 4.5/5 the only 2 categories that I didn't give full stars where audio, because of the super load noise that would play (I think when the music looped but idk for sure) and innovation because my group had the same idea but 3d (also I didn't give a rating for humor since I didn't feel it applied).

Great visuals and overall mood! I found the physics a bit disturbing at times but that could also be that I tackle the puzzles a bit wrong. As said it has been done before but this is a really nice package :)

@ludumup thank you for the useful feedback! You're right, I should have been more wary about leading the player down the wrong path.

Fun Game. The puzzle mechanic is great.. Could even more puzzle complexity by limiting the record per level. :) Overall great game!

You know, for only 3 levels, you've managed to balance the game almost perfectly - the tutorial, the learning, the test - and the last one requires some outside of the box thinking. Great job!

@a333 Glad you liked it! Would definitely love to add more levels and more mechanics - like moving platforms

Sweet! Idk how is good using clones as a springboard, but I’m glad that they don’t mind taking themselves on board!

Thanks @timbeaudet ! We were watching the stream, and appreciate it. I was glad to see during your playthrough the puzzles required some thinking but weren't super frustrating! After overscaling the difficulty of our last Ludum Dare game, we wanted to make sure this one was fun to play. And definitely plan on checking your game out!

I dont know if its WebGL but the sound glitches. Your idea was well executed. Solid entry

Really loved this! Great take on the theme and fun mechanics, responsive controls. I got stuck on the third level but you can feel free to chalk that up to user error, lol :) Good job!

@trypants never encountered the issue myself, but you're the second person to have this problem. Thanks for confirming, we'll look into that!

07. Oct 2020 · 04:42 UTC
@charlotte-raymond Hey thank you! @abdul-zakkar really fine tuned the mechanics as much as possible in the allotted time frame. That third level is definitely tricky the first run through... but try using clones stacked on other clones

This is a great little game. I really enjoyed it. The art styling is very unique and makes the game feel very cohesive. I think there might be a collider problem when stacking the clones. Especially when they jump with a clone on their head it seems like they don't stay stacked the way I expect. Thanks so much for the great entry.

Saw this game in a Twitch stream, which was kind unfair because I already saw the solutions. But I was able to improve on them as a result.

Very clever puzzle game. A lot of people in my game dev group make puzzle games like this. I think given the time constraints of the jam, you did well designing a range of puzzles.

Some sound effects would have been nice but that's about all I can think of.

@johnsensei yes I wish I had more time for sound design! I wanted to add maybe an "underwater" effect to the music during recording, as well as sound effects. But alas
Very glad you enjoyed and took the time to play it post-stream!

I had a lot of fun playing it because it allowed me to take my time and think about it.

@hakushika Thanks! We definitely prefer those types of games ourselves. Possible to speedrun if you want, but mainly puzzle based, so you're not punished for just chilling while playing it,
Adnonymous5
12. Oct 2020 · 01:36 UTC
@marcmagus That kind of happened by accident, haha! But yeah, it was fascinating seeing some people playtest it, especially seeing how differently the last level was handled from person to person.

@hgcummings Thank you it means a lot! We really wanted to choose a more unique art style than we'd done previously, as well as a mechanic that was compelling even if we didn't get to make a lot of levels. glad that it didn't go unnoticed!
