I fell asleep last night.
So I finally checked the bug.
The bug doesn't appear when I play games in the editor, but it appears when I export it to html or window.
I don't know the other platform, but I think it's probably an export-related bug.
Is there any point in keeping your mouth closed? If yes I missed it, I held spacebar down the entire time.
I really liked the artstyle and the collision physics :)

I named the screenshot WierdDrugs.png lul
Love the art style and kinda surrealistic feeling of the game, very whacky and kinda silly?
I was aware that the enemy was being created too quickly, and that it was quickly overwhelmed.
But I don't know how to balance the creation of enemies in these games.
I've created similarly random enemy-generated games before, but failed to balance.
The reason I have to press the space bar to open the mouth is because I wanted the player to open the mouth self.
I wanted to recreate the act of eating something, not just orienting itself towards the flying object.
But, like you said, it's a useless game feature.
I had to add another panelist or feature.
Like others mentioned, there should probably be a reason to close your mouth. I thought eventually there would be bombs or something you don't want to eat.

I don't know how to fix the issue of taking damage from 2 different directions. You could make all the nurses fire from the bottom of the screen up to the top, rather than all around you. Then you could introduce bombs or poison pills to force you to close your mouth/defend yourself. Or let the player move.
Good job. I think the stomach mechanic has a lot of potential!
I totally agree with you. I actually knew that there was a problem with attacks coming from all directions, especially from the opposite direction at the same time, and I was concerned during the test.
But I've already used the first day for prototypes and modifications, so I couldn't take it easy anymore. Because myy primary goal is to complete it.
After jam, I've considered many ideas. I thought maybe I could make a game of attacking the city like a death worm. Like you said, the things I swallowed cause interaction in my stomach.
A person in the stomach gets on a swallowed vehicle....etc
Of course, I only came up with an idea, but it was quite fun.
As you said, I think it's better to limit the direction up and down, not all directions. I had this problem because I thought limiting was always bad.
I also agree to add objects that should not be swallowed.
I found the game quite hard with the attacks coming from all directions though, but you're already aware of that !
I overall enjoyed it though I did not quite get where the "stuck in the loop" theme interpretation was mmmh
In fact, I tried to make a game that kept stuffing in a box that was constantly shaking, but it didn't work. So I decided to make it regardless of the theme.
Simple loop game and straightforward concept though. The music wasn't annoying, and the art was hilarious.
