This game is about a “Struthio Camelus”. A female Struthio Camelus to be precise. For the number of people out there thinking to themselves “What on Earth is this?”, its commonly known as an Ostrich. Our Struthio is doing her very best to protect her breeding egg that is in critical danger from a number of enemies from different shapes and sizes that all have one target in common; stealing the ostrich’s egg. There are wild monkeys, snarling crocodiles, lurking lions, giant elephants and even more monkeys. But they all underestimated this mother ostrich. She will do everything to keep the egg alive until her little chick hatches.

Team

Three guys, three different time zones, zero experience in creating games but 72 hours to learn and deal with it. It was a fun time with a great result: Struthio Camelus!

Played it all the way through. At the end I was like, 'of course there's an elephant' :) really fun game, great work!

Such a funny game. It feels like there's a lot to see and do and the details are great. I was laughing at the goofiness of it. Nice job!

Great game! had a fun time playing this :) , Could be good to add some way for the enemies to have a little bit more of intelligence and not be stuck in a pond or a rock forever. Good work.

Nice game. The movement felt pretty good, and the audio sounded nice. One thing I think you could improve on is telling the player how he/she died because I kept dying and I did not know why (Just my opinion). Good job keep it up!

Ok now the game makes sense. Plying again it is very fun. I originally thought the thing in the egg in the center was a cacti. Oops, my fault.

Hey there! I liked the combination of leveling up, and exploring. I also thought the music was very fitting. I think that you could add an enemy that was faster than the rest, but it would have very little life. I also think you could put something like a treasure chest in the level and give it like 500 to 1000 life, and itll keep the player coming back to it to slowly drain it life and get a decent payday. I also think you could let the ostrich walk between the walls. What if you could pay to upgrade the eggs health, but it wouldn't increase alot for every upgrade and it would also be super expensive. Anyways this was really fun, good work!

Cool game done by three unexperienced guys. Good graphics with a simple gameplay. The shop is a good way to improve our character. The wave is a bit long because animals don't progress with time (only new animals make the game harder).

PS: We can hide the egg in a block.

Absolutely brutal blood splatter on the chimpansees there :DD

I think you nailed it with the picking animation - feels very enjoyable clicking stuff. The sound effects too are very fitting!

The windows distribution lacks a .pck file though, just a heads up :)

@muchobestostudio Thanks for the positive feedback. We will be updating the animals in post LD. I agree with you on the duration of the game, once enemies are updated I am sure it will be a lot harder and you won't realise the time go by. The egg and the brick is something to be fixed too ;).

Simple but fun. Would be great if the egg has a bar of health so it doesnt die just by the attack of an animal. Overall great game. I liked the music that really fits the graphics.
