Bloop by notpresident35

Bloop is a minimalistic top-down shooter with a relaxing atmosphere and a high skill ceiling. The player is always spinning in a circle. Loop in larger, smaller, faster, or slower circles to move, and shoot enemies to earn as many points as you can!

Hang on - I'm still uploading the build
Congrats
The loopy control is an interesting concept. It's pretty fun once you figure out how to get from a to b while running in circles (reminds me a bit of Cobalt in some way). However, I don't like changing the rotation direction when colliding with the walls. It effectively flips everything around and is super confusing. I also had a hard time getting off the wall once stuck in it. Some manual control for changing the direction would be much preferred.
I also didn't quite like the shooting. Having to slow down to shoot is not snappy enough. By the time I was finally shooting, the enemy was already 10° behind me.
Props for making a whole tutorial
I did find the loop very hard to control, but I'm sure with a bit more practice you could really get into the rhythm of it. I liked the minimalist style of the tutorial, but I think it could be improved by showing exactly what each button does (also, I couldn't work out to get out of it - I ended up just hitting escape to go back to the menu. I think I was supposed to follow the arrows, but I couldn't control the loop well enough at that stage to do that haha).
This game is hard. But it's also rewarding and meditative. The color scheme, the well-made minimalistic graphics, music, the smoothness of movements, even the muted delicate "shooting" sound - all of this creates a seriously calming atmosphere where you just hyper-focus on the movement of your character (for the lack of a better word), akin to how you focus on breathing in some meditation techniques.
I never though I would find myself saying that about anything that classifies itself as top-down shooter (not really my genre) but... this game is perfect. Every inch of it is perfect. It's a zen garden of top-down shooters. Even the animation of enemies appearing reminds me of zen gardens.
PS. I found it better (for me personally) to use left right up arrows but S key instead of a down arrow. For some reason that felt more natural to me and it instantly made me stop confusing controls.
The bouncy graphics were nice on the eyes and the simplicity of the music and sound effects complimented the visuals perfectly. The music sounded really nice but it didn't always match my mood as I got kinda stressed during a lot of the game.
