Plant Life by HEXIEZ123
In this game, you are tasked with taking care of a peculiar plant. But be careful, this plant requires a lot of attention.
There are various connected yet different tasks which need to be taken care of. As the game progress, more tasks are added and old tasks become more difficult. This will really test your abilities to multi-task.

Great job on taking mechanics which would feel quite simple on their own but mixing them in a way that creates challenge.
I really like how the plant shoots up straight from the menu!
Liked the graphics and the gameplay. It's like an advanced version of my LD 45 game, L-Flowers, only had water and sunlight to manage.
I did miss, just the simplest of sound effects.
Great job
Also really great for a compo entry, you've come very far with a decent amount of mechanics!
For post-jam improvement, I might not make you lose immediately before you hit a cetain point, but like, give off a warning and if things don't change for a couple seconds, then it's over (like on Overwatch the warning sound before your kitchen burns down lol) The gameplay ideas were cool, the controls felt a little bit weird at first, but worked out pretty good :) As I comment on many games haha, I think this might be more intuitive with a controller, like one joystick for the sun, one for the water (as those two being the main influences) it would also be cool if you'd add certain effects like for example that you can kill the bugs with a carefully placed strain of water if it hits them, kill two birds with one stone :) (In German this saying is "Kill two flies with one swat" which is literally true, hehe ;))
All in all a very impressive entry, good job! :)
