I was able to go through a wall on the second level after the spikes but before the cop however which made me restart. :c
I unfortunately did not get a screenshot of that however.
Enjoyed the "ending" holy egg paradise! :egg: :egg: :egg:
Great pixel art! Clarity was great. Love the synth tones for the music as well!
I suggest that on the beginning of each level you save how many eggs you entered that level at and then on death, spawn with the eggs you started with. It felt bad having a bunch of eggs just to lose them like that. :c
I feel pretty accomplished on beating this one. You did a fantastic job! :chicken: :egg: :chicken:
Btw: I'm a student too! But I'm from Germany and 13 years old(LOL).
That said, I quickly dropped it. Somehow, the chicken always responded slightly too soon or too late. ...and once you die a couple of times, it becomes too repetitive to actually enjoy it. I didn't play very long, sorry.
It took me ja few tries to find out how to get past the first enemies but after that it was quite doable.
But will have a look :thumbsup_tone1:

The difficulty ramps up too quickly though. By the time you reach the second level it feels nearly impossible to get past the cops. Give the player a slow ramp up in difficulty to keep them engaged. You can also cheese your way through some of the levels. The first level lets you run through the spikes without any real consequence,
The pixel art is cute, and nice job making your own music. I hope you keep making games. I want to see what you do next.
The game itself is like a classic snake on a deathrun map. Which is quite interesting and worth exploring further. As for improvements you might consider constraining the movement of everything to the grid, that would make things less chaotic and feel more fair and transparent to the player, I think.
