made by Lee Beever for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Protect the planets and the colonists from the oncoming asteroid onslaught long enough for them to evacuate to safety so we can bring them home.

How To Play: 1. Protect the planets from the asteroids. 2. Pickup evacuee ships. 3. Deliver them to the rescue ship before it leaves.

How many million colonists can you save? Can you save them all? Let me know in the comments!

@gonzako Good idea. I've updated the itch.io page with a WebGL version.

Liked the idea, its like a slower variation of asteroid with a twist. I find controlling the ship somewhat hard but Its probably due to me not being used to this type of control making the game a tad bit on the harder side since manueverability is very important in the game.

I love your game !
The controls are great ! for me it's bit hard to not shoot the planet so i killed more people than the asteroids xD

Feel Free to test my game ! ;)

I like how the player is given the sort of choice of do I drop the evacues off first or do I fight off all of the aestroids. It was really, really fun. Top work! :)

I love the game! We have some similarities hehehe We struggled with the infinite movement so we've decided to use S to stop the ship, but I like the idea of "Asteroids" world where you appear on the other side of the screen

@laurari hah, I saw your ship and thought that looks familiar (love Kenney's stuff)! It's great how we can have similar ideas, yet they play so differently. Games are great!

Nice relaxing game. I love the art style and sound effects. When you start moving fast the movement becomes uncontrollable for some reason. Keep up the good work!

It's clever to use the theme in this way. In the process of playing, I always think of my insignificance. Impressive!
The game has a high fault tolerance rate and is very gentle.

Very elegant submission! I enjoyed juggling multiple things, with both the asteroids, evacuees, and shield. Loved the idea of the shield by the way, a fun twist instead of just one-hit. The sounds, music, and aesthetics created a nice cohesive atmosphere. The screen-wrapping player was a nice touch!

Very nice game. It took a bit to get used to the controls and how everything works, but after that it was a lot of fun.

Hey game is good overall, glad that someone added input that's not only WASD

I somehow managed to leave the screen and am not in the game screen anymore (was going to the left side of the screen and thrusted back to reach the middle, somehow my vessel disapeared when I did that.

@fadoli03 ahh yeah. There appears to be a rare edge case where that can happen. I’ll have another look at the wrapping code.
