Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

Congratz on the game! The idea was nice  I played it on the browser and I don't know if it could have affected my experience but the camera angle at the start was weird and I didn't exactly know what to do.
After the monster moved for the first time I could see the game properly
For the future I would consider focusing on having a more stable camera at least because it was a bit jumpy from one point to another.
Other than that it was nice keep on making games and improving this!

Nice idea! Loved the graphics and the gameplay!! Although agreeing with @sir-syko the camera angle at the start was not proper. The only thing missing in your game was the audio(or did it not play in my browser?).

Horrendous, one of the most traumatic things I've seen on this website. Well done! How did you create the hairy guy? It ran pretty badly on the web and cooked my computer, but I had fun, I like the animation of picking people up to eat them.

I want to start by saying I actually really liked eating people. And you made the monster look very cool, a nice combination between fluffy and gruesome. The html version was quite laggy/buggy but eating people still felt goood :D The theme is nicely incorporated and the rest of the graphics are good enough for this kind of game. The gameplay was simple but actually quite fun, it's nice being the bad guy for once. The one thing about the gameplay I didn't like was the fact that only clicking in the square made the monster move. The square was to small making it a bit arduous to move sometimes and I do not see any benefit to making the licking confined to this square. I think the square should only be used to show what distance you need to be to eat someone. Overall I liked it , very good theme involvment but the akward movements and laggyness should be fixed to have a nice solid game.

Quite the experience. This belongs in a post-modern art museum.

Is he related to the Cookie Monster? Was a fun experience, I dunno how the graphics work whether they're 2D or 3D but it was interesting.

Cool game. I liked the idea. It was funny and enjoyable.

GRAPHICS: Looks pretty nice. It was somewhat inconsistent between the smooth monster with hair and the blocky people, but that isn't very important.

GAMEPLAY: Really fun. I love eating people who are desperately trying to escape lol.

Conclusion: Awesome game. Really original and funny concept. Awesome work!

So, there are some difficulties with controls, but otherwise good concept, would like to see it expanded more

I thought that the monster looked more like Elmo @alexrose except he had dice for eyes for some reason? It was a pretty good entry, however I got to a point where it seemed like all the people were spawning above me and I couldn't run any farther "north / up" on the screen. Also, was there supposed to be sound? I'm on Win10 using FireFox browser and there didn't seem to be sound for me. Still, pretty fun little game!

Reminds me a bit of Elmo or Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, and that's not a bad thing. I don't know what method you used to make "hair", but it looks pretty damn authentic, great job on that!

As far as the gameplay, it was quite bland, but followed the theme and generally worked. The WebGL version wasn't too great (at least on a computer), but it functioned. For Ludum Dare tho, I recommend to target desktop first, mobile second, as most people play these on their computer. But hey, at least you didn't make it like NES or VR exclusive or something, cause that would make it even harder for people to experience.

One epic of a creature you got there, nicely done! :-)
