The Siege of Yggdrasil by rohezal
The siege of Yggdrasil
is a mix between Skyrim and Minecraft. Build a Wall around Yggdrasil to keep it alive and prevent the world from ending. Fight against wolfes and crawlers in a "Skyrim light style" combat system. Harvest wood and stone for the wall. Destroy the crystal of Hel to end the siege of Yggdrasil.
Please use 16:9 resolutions (1920x1080, 1280x720 etc), the menus could be cropped at different ratios. To destroy the crystal you have to hit it several times while staying alive, not only once :).

"Hel, the goddes of the underworld is attacking Yggdrasil, the tree in the center of the world. All trees in its valley, except a few far away stone pines, were already destroyed by Hels crawlers. She sent her wolfs to guard these insects and to destroy the world. You have to defend Yggdrasil. Gather wood and build a wall around it. Fight her wolfs and slay her crawlers. After this you can try to stop Hel by destroying her crimson crystal."
Ulf the Viking will do his best to prevent Ragnarök.

Nice with the voice acting
It was really hard, (at first I thought the stone in the middle was the tree since it was so big, but I figured it out ) The movement controls were smooth and the combat was slow which required you to back and time your hits and not just spamclick, you even had to think about not standing to far from the trees you gathered, as it costed you to much time if you were to miss them.
Well done!
PS: If you beat it, you can try it on hard core mode (100 instead of 150 hitpoints and the orbs heal you only for 10 instead of 20 hitpoints).
You manage to do something obviously too ambitious actually fun to play. I play for half an hour but did not manage to destroy the Hel crystal. Wolves stop to spawn when I surround it but it teleports everytime I want to hit it, and there is not enough wood on the map to isolate every spawn point I think...

This was my master plan, build a wood tunnel between Yggdrasil and Hel crystal. Was I supposed to do this ? IDK, but it was fun :) Well done !
I am happy you liked the game .:).
Nice job
Nice for a first game on itch
If you want to know the timestamp of when your game was played you can see it in this spreadsheet:

And then look in my latest videos and find your game being play (after the current stream ends)

@daniil-tcyvakin I noticed a lot of people are overwhelmed a bit when they start the game and did not read the instruction. This game features a lot of things. You have to hit the dead trees with your axe to collect wood, while you fight the wolfs. You have to kill the crawlers from time too time and heal up near Yggdrasil. And you have to buid the wall while doing it.
The idea of waves sounds good. Maybe it would make the game a bit more easy. But maybe too easy 5 to 10 seconds are enough to build most if not all of the wall. Not sure if it would be challenging enough.
