That's one hell of a game! The controls are a little bit confusing, as the game itself. I really like the madness of the animation. By the way, in the first menu screen texts look a little bit off on the 1920x1200 resolution.

A sad showcase of what addiction can do to you for sure.
Game is cool, its finicky-ness kind of expresses the drunken captain well. My favourite bit is when you spawn and you're literally headless and flapping into the sky before dropping into the sea.
This game when fully developed would be really fun, its quite a complex character controller though. Great work nonetheless!

I'M DYING I HAD A SO SIMILAR IDEA! I wanted to do a game about a drunk person trying to get home avoiding obstacles! And this is a COMPO? You rock!

First three levels are super fun and game looks great, but there is some bug on level 4, it always reloads :(
Maybe it's because of my big screen resolution? It's 2880x1800.

that controller really gives you the feeling of a lack of control :D good job
can you tell me how to solve the level when the captain always jumps into the water?

This is a game after my own heart, its basically super monkey ball with legs and drunk.
It seemed to totally break on level 4 (on mac) with the pirate flying off screen every time.
Recording atmospheric sounds like wind and water might have created a better mood then google music.

Funny little game! I know I'm supposed to be drunk, but I wish I had a little more control. It gets a bit frustrating at times. I think the waves effect could be better if you removed static objects like the rock in the background. Nice work!

I thought it was a jam entry for the looks of it. No way you made all those Models/Rig/Animations/Code/Music in 2 days! :O It's amazing! Good job!

By far the most impressive graphically of all the games I've played to this point. Music was a bit repetitive, but what are you going to do. Made it to the end and the game was certainly fun enough to keep me entertained all the way through. Stellar job.

Cool Entry! Awesome rainy/stormy mood with the pirate theme! I don't know if It's something you did purposely, but they look like garden porcelain dwarfs over Lego pirate ships (and I loved the final result)!

For the UX, You should try to use the Cinemachine's Group Camera and try to "frame" both (the Rum bottle and the protagonist) with a bit of follow zoom to keep them always within the user's field of view!

And there's a lot of the sound you could improve some footsteps over wood squeaking and the wet leather boots shrugging, some cloth shrugging between the footsteps, a bit of procedural protagonist's reactions (belching and hiccough), some water shocking against the Hull, water drops hitting the wooden deck, sea waves, rain, the wooden hull creaking, thunder claps and howling winds;

You could also improve the atmosphere by adding more close range fog, the water drops "sub-emiting" water ripples and water splashes over the surface of the objects, and scroll the sea vertices through a vertex animation shader!!!

You made a droll game. Although physics has some bug, puzzles are balanced and this game is fun to play! (Partly due physics has bugs).

Also storm effect was curiously done. Only at the end of the game I noticed that the water is static mesh.
