Really cool! This is the kinda thing I'd gladly pay money for if it were improved and expanded upon. Great work!

Really challenging and fun, the rhythm mechanic blew me away, it makes sense so much, and the theme interpretation is on point, I suffered a bit playing with a trackpad, but that's on me.

Very challenging, fun and rythmic! I enjoyed my time on this game even if I wasn't able to finish it. The art style is very dynamic and engaging. I have to admit I wasn't able to finish the last level even if I tried for 20 minutes on it... xD I only reached the three circles a few times and never made it passed it...

Damn is this a challenging game! I couldn't complete it, but what I played of it was stellar! The music almost seemed to align with the rhythm of the gameplay at times, which felt really really cool.

The game mechanics are really really cool and interesting and they make for some fast-paced and enrapturing playsessions.

Excellent work!!

Great rush to jump from one circle to the other, matching the rhythm... awesome!

hardcore. GREAT! I can see more casualized version on mobile coming soon :D controls a bit messed, i think, it would be great to change loops on any button click.

This is BRUTAL. It's great though. As already mentioned, could 100% see this working on mobile. The background and juicy animations go a long way for the mood.

I have to ask, @perpetuareality, was the music not usually synced with the gameplay for you? I know that some levels adhere to the beat less than others (level 3 should be the tightest), but it was intended as a rhythm game and significant desync might indicate a bug :(

I liked this game until I got to level 3, then I loved it. It was brutally hard but it felt great right away. It's definitely the most synced to the music out of the three which made it so much more satisfying. If I were to spend more time on it I'd definitely go for all the extra points in it but I was happy enough to beat it with at least a few of them. I could easily see this being a full game with a more gradual difficulty curve across several levels. Insanely fun, good job!

What a fun game! Great visuals and catchy music make for a stylish and addictive gaming experience. Easy to pick up but equally challenging - This one keeps me coming back for more and more punishment! 😆

Crossing orbital paths to the rhythm is cathartic and fun as heck, you guys did great with this!!

This was incredibly fun! My only gripe and what I felt made it harder was having both LMB and RMB for switching when it could've been one mouse button for intra-orbital switching and the otehr for inter-orbital switching. A lot of my losses felt was because of my brain mixing it up for that. In any case - I had a lot of fun with this, good job!

@diptoman Thanks for the feedback! I agree with that as well. If we continue working on this project adding more input types / bindings will be one of the first things I'll add. Glad you enjoyed it :)

@diptoman Input options are one of the most needed features for sure, though two buttons would still be needed for switching because you can move either outwards or inwards.

This was my "one more game before going to bed" game. And here I am, 30 mins later. Got completely hooked on the game and really had to force myself to quit without beating the final level. I gave the game a very high score, but here's some thoughts:

- I wish there was keyboard and controller support, I don't generally enjoy playing with mouse and my laptop only has one mouse button.
- I think the game would have worked with just one button. If you can change the loop do it, otherwise change to inner/outer loop.
- I wish there were more ways to avoid the looping enemies, like inner loop. Especially in the third level there sometimes wasn't anything I could do to avoid death.
- The game was incredibly frustrating! But the kind of frustrating that you just have to try one more time! And one more! And then one after that! It's a thin line, but you managed to make the perfect kind of frustrating.
- Great music and visuals. I especially enjoyed when my movements synced up with the music in the first level.
- Thanks for making a web build!

Tomorrow I'll beat the third level. I swear! :bed::sleeping:

Awesome game! once I understood the controls I got in a grove. Nice music and simple controls, you could redesign this for mobile and put it on a store.

It was very hard to understand how to play, but after i got it, it became very fun and i think it's very ambitious project!

Simple and fun with some unique visuals and funky music! I think some juicy sound effects when you switch loops would have helped a lot - since the music has such a strong beat and the game is so focused on timing and rhythm I actually found that my timing would get thrown off when a beat landed close to the time I was intended to jump (as if my brain wanted it to be on the beat but it was juuuust off). It would be nice if switching loops had an effect to it and a sound associated with it to really drive home when you nail a transition.

@graebor Several of the comments we've received make me worry that there is a bug causing the game to desynchronize from the music for some players. Every jump was supposed to line up exactly with the beat, especially on level 3, so if that was not the case for you we'd appreciate confirmation.

@tree3 oh, I see! Yes, I was definitely seeing that bug on each level I tried.

@graebor Thanks for the reply. Were you using the web build or the downloaded version? I believe the web version definitely has a desync bug, but the downloaded version is uncertain.

@tree3 I was originally playing on web, but I just tried the download build and I still get the issue there. The download build is noticeably better (some beats line up), but most are still off. Also as an aside I'd highly recommend hosting your downloadable build on itch as well, since you've already got a page there - it's much easier for folks to download and manage through the itch client than to get a loose file from Drive :)

This was cool but the instant death from one hit was harsh. In the first level there's a part where you need to do two very quick transitions or you die, and you barely get to practice that move beforehand. It would be helpful if there was a part where you needed to do the same move but without the threat of complete failure. Also it would be nice to allow the player a few mistakes before resetting the whole level.
