Hey there ! Be careful you have a problem with your build, you need to rename the Data folder with the new name of your game, cause you can't launch the .exe otherwise !

besides that, the look of the game and the ambient is really nice ! the game is fun and challenging. A downside could be the theme fit that is not really here imo

Very cool game and very nice graphics !
As raitozan says don't rename files or folder from the build, if you want to rename go in unity->edit->project settings->player->production name ;)

Pretty cool game, though it gets a little easy once you have a large horde, and it can be a little difficult to see where you are on screen, especially as the players skin colour is the same as allies health bars.![Screenshot1.jpg](///raw/d81/31/z/28cd9.jpg)

Great idea with building your army from nothing, I think it fits nicely with the theme. Nice graphics, especially the lighting. I liked the design of the characters, too. I'd prefer moving my character with the mouse rather than with WASD.

What an amazing game! Thats pretty insane work for three days. I think the enemies need to start appearing a little later, but everything else was incredible! Well done!

Great game, the most fun I had testing games so far. The only thing that I can think that would improve the game would be adding a highlight to the player when there is too much going on the screen

Very fun game, I'm a sucker for voxels. The player movement was a little tough to work with but overall once you get your army up you are running around just trying to get to things before they despawn.

Good work! I really like the art style. I thought it was a really good idea that you can "farm" the pigs and chickens constantly so there is always something to do. Great take on the theme aswell.

A very interesting theme! Especially from building something from nothing. Its pretty difficult at the beginning until you get the hang of it and you can play without dying in the first minute.

This is a pretty cool idea, I love the visuals of a powerful necromancer desperately slaughtering farm animals as a last line of defense lol. The movement and resurrection speed is quite slow, and there isn't a great visual indicator when one of your minions die. I wish the attack animation had some kind of lock on to the nearest animal as well as I found myself missing quite a bit, which is annoying when it is slow to begin with. Also it seemed like the attack didn't effect enemies, which was kinda odd. Overall though really well polished and fun idea!

Really fun game! I like the idea of making the enemies fight for you. Just the balancing needs some work. Because I can resurrect almost all enemies my army just gets stronger. Maybe making some enemies non-resurrectable or giving the main character a health could help. Apart from that, well done!

Really cool and well balanced game! Nice usage of the theme. Graphics look awesome. I really liked the fact that you had to kill and resurrect the animals at the beginning. Very clever. I actually died at my first run, when trying to solo kill the single zombie, haha.

you know after spending some time into the game i was thinking what if the big enemies later on after defeat became into big friendlies? Audio is subtle. It was little humorous as it had taking chickens to get time element to it. Overall Good work. maybe a potential future release? keep posted :)

One of the best games I've tested! Everything is perfectly mastered, from graphics to gameplay not too repetitive, with an adapted difficulty. The idea is original and we quickly get into it. Only small flaw in my eyes, the controls not optimized. Congratulations to you

That was fun! I found it pretty satisfying to be converting enemies into minions. Really cute visual style too.

Initially I was working real hard to kill sheep and chickens to raise an army but there was this cool moment when I realised I could resurrect the enemies. Game changer.

I often found myself wishing that I could move a little faster and that I had more control over what I was attacking. Great jam game!

Awesome voxel art. I kept playing it. Addictive! Physics can act odd at times. It starts to feel repetitive after some time. More kind of enemies and more variables would improve it a lot.

Wow, great stuff, love the voxel characters. I did much better the second or third time once I figured out I could resurrect enemies too.

Didn't know if the command part did anything - I just set them to defend the stone.

Well, for some reason nothing I did actually seems to... do anything? Reread all the controls just to make sure I was doing things right, but pressing "e" didn't raise anything and mouse 2 didn't command anything. To be fair, left mouse did swing my staff, but I can't really play the game with just that. :stuck_out_tongue:

So I will give the benefit of the doubt that I encountered some weird bug and rate the other aspects of it. The graphics are pretty decent; a nice hybrid of "low-poly" and pixel art and the enemies and animals have a recognizable look that fits the style. The mood created by the lighting is excellent and the concept (even if I couldn't see it in action) was appealing to me.

If it was not a bug and I was just unable to tell what I needed to do, then my primary feedback would be to make it way more obvious (because it was not obvious lol). Some intro text like "do this thing to begin" would go a long way.

I wish there was a way to sprint or a ranged attack, but other than that, really fun!

12. Oct 2019 · 10:17 UTC
@guitarbro did you kill the chicken and pigs with the staff to then resurect them?

I liked the voxel style graphics, they are very well executed. But I don't really like the background grass texture. I think you could have put a bit more work into that, but overall its very good looking.

The general game play mechanics are working very well and as many others I would like to see a bigger version of this.

Have you considered a two player vs and coop mode for the future? I'd be the first to buy a Post LD version of this game with multiplayer :)

Overall well done :)

Thank you all for the comments, we're very proud of ourselves!

@guitarbro as @ausstein said, try to use the attack on the chicken and pigs. As they die, you can the ressurrect skill on them to create an army of minions. Then, the command skill can controll said army to kill enemies.
You can also ressurect the enemies to fight at your side, tho they act as sentries and can't move at your command.

@ausstein The coop is a really interesting idea, but we still need to balance a lot more of the game before it happens, like other minions, enemies and zombies. Maybe skills and upgrades... Still a lot to think, but Coop would be great as a couch game

@ashashza The necro being slow was intended as he is old and decrepit, and it makes you have to decide on where to go, what to ressurect and mind your positioning.

@freyje Yeah, the controls feels a bit off, but we couldn't find time to tune that, unfortunately

@themoonrise We were actually thinking in having a timer/health bar in the zombies, so they die with time. This way you'll have to always raise new zombies to fight for you.

@brokenmirrormedia The necro being slow was intended, we understand that it can be a little frustrating but the idea was that he is really weak and only the undead army could defeat the enemies (or else he wouldn't need them). The lockon was something that came into our minds in the game design, but killing multiple critters worked better in the game in the end.

@susumu-asaga Good idea, some highlight shaders on the player might do the trick

@stasm We thought about the idea of moving the player with the mouse, but we would have to re-assing the clicks in other buttons, witch would need more explanation, so we opted for fewer keys on the game.

Again, thank you all for playing our game and leaving some feedback for us, this is gold. I'll try to find some time to play all your games!

Noooo, the poor chickens! The game seemed really hard at first until I realised that I had to kill the farm animals. The attack direction and range seemed really hard to judge, so some sort of visual feedback on that would be a great addition

This was very fun, I really liked the premise. It would have benefited from a short tutorial because it wasn't obvious at first that you had to gain your army from the farm animals. I also found that the difficulty curved up very quickly. That said though, well done!

Pretty fun and solid game! One thing that i would love to have is a bit more sharp display of a resurrection area(or have the bodies in circle light up or something ). I keep missing the bodies when i'm trying to resurrect multiple targets at once and most of the times it costed me a game.

Okay, can I talk about bugs so I can move on to the good stuff? Player moves too slowly for my taste. Maybe it brings balance, but I'm not sure. Big soldiers always stay where I brought them to life. They're not moving in the direction I'm trying to send them. Waves don't change when I restart game. Helps to restart the game completely.
Let's move on to the good! I really like this style of graphics, looks great! A very nice idea with raise the dead (plus for humor, because chickens and pigs are fun). There's music and a lot of different sounds, which is undoubtedly very cool. And the presence of the plot makes the process more interesting. Bugs didn't spoil the overall impression, when you enter the rush then play is a lot of fun. Great entry!

I love the simplified graphics. Is there a reason to use command at all though? I've piled up all my warriors near the stone itself and it seems to be working okay.

21. Oct 2019 · 23:14 UTC
This was pretty engaging! I think the instructions could have been a _little_ clearer (maybe just a prompt to the effect of, "guess I better go murder a chicken and raise it as unholy extension of my will"), but otherwise worked well. I do think some things could be improved upon, for example in terms of pace/time between waves (maybe slow down slightly), visual clarity (it _looks_ good, but it can be hard to tell what is going on), and meaningful player verbs (the 'control' action didn't seem very helpful, especially since it didn't work on the useful minions anyway).

But all in all it was still a well-realized and enjoyable game! Good job!
