Cool game! It took me a chapter or two to get the hang of it but I liked it! The narrative was interesting. I wasn't quite sure on the connection to the theme though!

Very nice game you made here buddy! I love the rhythm gameplay tied with the great music and storytelling  It’s so you to make a game like that! :stuck_out_tongue:
Looking forward to making another game with you, some day

Not sure the connection to the theme if any but still neat little game. The narrative was cool as well as the rhythm game aspects. Good job completing the Jam!

@twistashio @albionbrown Hey thank you for your comments!

Just to specify, the base idea of the game was to keep a relationship alive, be hitting the beat! But it's not clear enough in the storytelling, we didn't have the time to polish that part!

Very unique twist on a rhythm game. I understood that you wanted to keep the relationship alive. The game play felt really good. I had to cheat on the last level... I skipped the kick drum space-bar the whole song so I could concentrate on the ones coming in from the angles. Good Job!

The instructions were showing for too short and after death they didn't show up again, so in level 3 I didn't really know what to do to advance ;-;

hi, i agree with some of the comments here. instructions should be shown a bit longer. It can be tricky to figure out the game. Nice gameplay though, graphics can use some help :)

@kosmik123 @vivek-sharma20 Hey, sorry for that, thought that 10 secs would be enough and didn't want to bother people with always the same text each time they restart the level! But the gameplay was on the game page too!

Hope you liked what you saw! Thanks for playing!

@codechomper Thanks so much for the feedbacks! I'm glad you saw the theme and finished the game!

I usually really like rhythm games, mostly for cool beats.
This one has really nice soothing music. I really liked it.
The down arrow for the bottom line is a bit confusing as it feels like it's also coming from the side and I instinctively want to press the left/right arrows... but after some time I got used to it.

In any case, the graphics and story seem a bit rushed, but not too much can be done in 3 days

Btw, make a soundtrack out of this

Nice! Always love to see rhythm games, this is great. The music is really good and the gameplay has a nice difficulty progression. There was a bit of a difficulty spike when it mixed both the upper lanes with notes coming from both sides on the bottom - I would get confused and use A/D for the left/right notes on the bottom row, so it feels like the controls are a bit of a mixed metaphor, but I got used to it after a bit. Some of the patterns were a bit repetitive as well, would be nice to see some more variety there. Still it was really fun and I enjoyed experiencing the story too. Got 97.8% & 4/5 score. Great work!

Cool. A truly cubist rhythm game. A bit hard to not mix up space and the arrow keys and get all confused (like me), but fun. The story completed that. And very nice music too. Good work!
(And got only 81.5% and 4/5 but liked it)

Cool ryhtm game. I really like the little Storyelements in between. The music is beautiful as it has to be in a rithm-game. I liked it a lot, even though it became a little to difficult (chapter 7)

Quite fun, it really stands out among these games for having gameplay that is refined and balanced enough to enjoy.

I love the concept of combining rhythmic and story-driven categories, still it comes off a bit below my expectation, I believe you can do even better story-wise and improve on the particles of the rhythm games also.

Well executed game! I liked the simple art style and how the music ties in with the game's mechanics. The transitions were nice too. Chapter 6 didn't seem to work too well with the rhythm but the others were pretty good.

I was doing fine until level 7 when the difficulty spike just got too great for me, after that I stopped and left it at that. Before then it was an enjoyable little rhythm game, and it was nice to see the evolving story that went along with it. Music was nice as well.

I would definitely save try to do something the sudden difficulty spike on level 7.

@kaisean-games @adhesion @westmave Thanks for the compliments on the music!
I have polished them a bit more and uploaded them on a bandcamp account.
They are obviously free to get. :)
