Cool concept, the gameplay felt pretty smooth and the music wasn't bad :) Some of the note combinations (like up+down) were very awkward to hit at the same time. And is it just me, or do you not actually have to hold down the key on sustained notes? Overall a pretty nice entry!

it works fine in CHrome (on a macbook pro)
I really liked how the flower or seedling grew little by little.
I think the holding mechanic needs a little bit more work, because the animation is cancelled at some point, despite getting it perfectly.

Otherwise, lovely little game!

I'm a big fan of rhythm games! I've worked on making some in the past and they are quite difficult so kudos for making one in such short time. I'm not sure I'm sold on the how you tied it to the theme though  , but otherwise, good work!

My Stepmania muscle memory keeps throwing me off, since the up and down arrows are switched. Otherwise it's a very relaxing game with some trippy graphics. Good job!

Nice! Reminded me of dance dance revolution. Couldn't stop playing this one.

Nice. It was a bit slow for me, but I can see how that might be relaxing. I'm not sure about the theme - was the seed supposed to grow? - but there's the makings of a good rhythm game here. Nice one!

Not a very big fan of this type of game and usually they just abuse and aggravate me, but for some reason this one seemed more forgiving.

Wow, pretty impressive entry. Didn't expect to see rhythm games in this theme. I'm generally pretty bad at these sort of games, but I enjoyed it regardless. Nice work!

Nice game. At one point it felt like the music and the buttons i pushed where out of sync all of a sudden. Really enjoyed playing your game.

I love this kind of games, very nice! the only thing for me with the controls is that pressing up and down is a little confusing, if I had the options I would replace for side by side keys, like ASDF.

Very relaxing, nice game. My one suggestion would be to change the controls to 4 buttons in a row. 1 2 3 4 maybe. The arrow keys were a bit awkward for combos. Overall I like the game, great job!

relaxing game guitar hero style! nice job, but the art it was a little strang with that 3d forms ins 2d, the game in 3d it would be mutch better looking, with press effects in 3d and particles. =D

I'm now waiting for the drums DLC. A nice and chill game!

Nice and peaceful game. Very simple and intuitive. Art is also great. Pressing several arrow keys at the same time did feel a bit weird (Especially 3 arrow keys at the same time). Great game. Keep making games as a team because you guys could make some thing extraordinary!

(I posted the last comment). For some reason whenever I publish a comment it publishes the comment and a blank comment? (This was the blank comment)

A really great idea combining guitar hero and the Keep it alive theme of this Ludum Dare! Congratulations on that and the gameplay is really smooth as well! Wish you good luck!

I was really surprised with how much content this had - nice job adding so many levels! This was honestly a pretty surreal experience. The graphics made me nostalgic for some reason. My only complaint is that you used the arrow keys instead of ASDF or QWER. Nice :)

Since I like rythm-games, i enjoyed this game as well! The only downside was that the keys were not in sync with the music - although i don't know if what was intentionally or not. Also, another set of input (like qwer /wert or something) would have been an extra nice feature. Overall great game!

Very cool game. Great for 3 days, But there is one thing that makes the game really bad:
You can just spam your arrow keys.

My two issues are the commands(arrow keys are confusing for a 1 2 3 4 layout, especially on a macbook pro). I think a 1234 or QWER layout would have been better. The other issue is I can press the button like crazy before the 'beat' comes, and I don't get punished for it.

Other than that the game is nicely done and the music you created is very fitting.
