All to stop this: Capture1.PNG

GORID-19 is a game about a pandemic going through the Gorbin empire, you, the Empire's leader has to quarantine and test anybody with symptoms, and even restrict travel between the four planets.

I'll continue working on this further after play/rate ends and also try and get the %alive and %recovered to finally work.

I'm starting to update the game, the updated game can be found here

Pretty nice game! You could make the aliens a bit bigger tho. The animations are nice. Also, fun gameplay! I won with only 5 dead.

I Eradicated Gorid19 with only 1 dead!
I'm still not sure how I get the info on the one that I'm not testing myself, (not that I complain, I'd be dead otherwise), I did click on travel restrictions without enough points and I think I got locked out of the option to do it at all.

Really good on you on placing a tutorial ingame!

I then went on to defeat Egola with only 8 dead.
Seems like testing is key to defeat Gorid19, while restricting travel early is key to Egola.

Pretty fun game, and very optmistic too

Really cool! I eradicated Gorid 19 with about three deaths, i like the concept, it really does work with the theme!

Nice game, hard to play on small monitors but works well on full screen.
- Did you think about using middle mouse click to pan around the camera? Sometimes it is hard to follow the aliens when you need to move the mouse to the side of the monitor and back. Clicking middle mouse and "draging" the image below could make it easier to navigate
- Constraining Quarantine space on the planed could be an interesting addition to the game and would need to think about constraining traveling more

Overall great entry :)

Cool concept. I think the aliens were really small and I couldn't get the win condition. Anyway good game.

Great game! I have beaten all modes without death, but on Egola I had 7 death :( Rip for all that 7 alien.
Art is cool, but as everyone says, It was too small, and it was hard to click on them.

P.S. If you polish this masterpiece, and add more viruses and planets, and maybe some story, you can publish this on itch.io , and set as paid game (it's free to do so, you just need to go to your setting in Itch.io, and then go to Publisher tab, and then choose Payout mode, and finally change it to "Collected by itch.io, paid later" and now you can make commercial games!)

Recommendation: A screenshot on your ludum dare page encourages visitors a lot to play your game :).

I played two rounds, in round one i was lucky, found the only infected and put it into quarantine. The game looks fine, but it is a bit complicated. Do I am play just on one planet or on all of them (since I choose a planet at gamestart and I am not sure if I just choose difficulty).

It doesn't load for me for some reason (Firefox), even after restarts and with addons disabled. I had no problems with other WebGL games.

Super innovative! I love the idea of taking those viral simulators and turning them into a game where you have to quarantine the population. You did a great job with this one.

A fifth virus that's harder than both the ebola and covid ones combined would be great. I found this game was too easy once I got the hang of it, and I never lost once, or even got close to it after the first level.

The game could use sound effects as well as a feedback indicator to know if tests were successful or not.

Cool concept. It was easy enough to understand and worked well. My only major complain would be the Gorbins were pretty hard to click on, and the lack of visual or audio feedback made it hard to tell whether I had used tests successfully or not etc. But it was a cool take on the theme and you executed it well overall, nice job!

Nice cleaver gameplay. Cool art style, which is very simple in theory but looks good. And the game itself very relevant to these days!

Great simulation game, I liked it a lot! The most innovative and interesting game I've seen so far in this jam. Tutorial helped a lot. One thing I was missing was information on how the quarantine works, because I couldn't send recovered pals back to their planets and quarantine planet quickly ran out of space. I'm really looking forward to see how you develop it further. Really like the concept.

Great job!

@mykola I'm already working on a better version of the game with bigger gorbins and being able to send the recovered ones back to their planets.

I found it a bit too easy, I didn't have to do much to eradicate the virus using the Gorid-19 setting.
Also I found the zoom level and all to be a bit annoying, maybe have larger steps in the zooming effect?
Nice idea otherwise.

Wow this game is really fun and unique!! I eradicated Gorid-19 with no deaths! Gonna try hard mode next. This game has a fun art style and good humor too! The animation changing when the aliens go from healthy to sick was a nice touch. It would be good if there was sound effects and music too!

Thanks @toasted-oregano The sound files corrupted when I built the game, so that's why there's no sound.

So I really like games like plauge inc, so this was a nice surprise. I do wish the aliens were a bit larger and that you could zoom in on them. I do like the tutorial menu as it makes it easier for new player to just hop and go. The art is good as well as the different virus names :) Each one made me smile. I think you have a really cool concept as the reverse plauge inc, almost just with a bit more polish it could be great. Overall Good JOB!!!

@twistashio You can zoom in on them and I'm adding a lot of polish and suggestions to the game.

Interesting concept, too bad there isn't any sort of sound. The sprites are small but the game is fun enough to try again many times!

Weirdly enough I couldn't click the aliens in the opera browser, so I changed to firefox and it worked.
I really liked the humorous flavour you gave everything - example:

![2.png](///raw/98b/d2/z/3223d.png)

yes, this did indeed make me laugh :DD

Other than that, I do have to agree with @lery on the difficulty - even when not being able to play (back with the Opera Browser), I managed to get through Gorid-19 with only 1 casualty (but maybe that's just a little, hopeful scripted joke about how we will all make it through the crisis atm). I did manage Egora with no difficulties whatsoever on the Firefox Browser afterwards... so maybe raise the difficulties a bit?

All in all a fun little simulation game :3

Cool game that reflects the current pandemic. Also, I noticed that an alien can go outside of the planet in your bug-fixed game.

@ricefarmerlenin I've known about this for a while, and I still don't know what causes it. I was working on a fix but it didn't work it looks like.
