absolutely fantastic
really good idea and good game I liked the enemies and the stages are very good and fun
good luck;and
keep it up
@bastian-bresson thanks for the feedback! Enemies die with just one bullet (although I admit they can be hard to hit). Helpers are spawned every 3 or 7 or 15 kills, depending on the type. It's mentioned in the in-game messages. Perhaps you unchecked the "tutorial messages" box before playing?
@evert yes, more shoot feetback might be nice, and missing the second lung seems to be a common issue  glad you enjoyed the game!
Arey you kidding me? You just gave me a machine gun to fight against viruses and learn a bit more about immune system? How I can not to fell in love with it?) Please make a full game to help people learn more about this extremely actual theme.
Wish you the best of luck!
The aiming was a bit difficult (don't know exactly if it was the aiming or the bullet spread) but overall it was ok  Keep on it!
The graphics are good, the audio is great.
Although the song did get a little much. (person opinion I guess)
Would've loved to have seen a few special abilities you could trigger.
The main character is also just adorable. Somehow I felt dizzy after some time because of the fast movement, but I guess its just because im not used to it ;)
Great game!
Well done!
@james-joubert thank you, the guy who made the music put it too much effort!
@hanna-knop understandable, the body's interior is a chaotic place
@theceases weird, the enemies are programmed to die one by one when they become less than 50. Didn't that happen for you? (EDIT sorry, less than 40)
Wish right-click did something, for example zoom in so you can aim better far away. Pressing middle mouse button could have thrown a medicine grenade.
A challenge would have been nice. Shooting the red blood cells could have reduced health a little and split them into two smaller, more dark red blood cells for increased difficulty as a punishment. Shooting those will split them one more time into turn them black ones that no longer split (to reduce <1 FPS scenarios).
The lungs could have sometimes rumbled followed by a cough, causing everything to fly around more quickly a little while (making it easier to hit the red blood cells by mistake).
Maybe I can also try this kind of 3D picture.
excellent!
@meme-310 someone else mentioned motion sickness too, I should look into it  thanks for your kind words!
@alia-zanetsu @flying-dog-fish @yellow thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!
@max-louis thanks for your encouraging words! Would love to watch the stream if you have a link to it!
I really like the idea, as I'm a person who can't get enough of the "got turned little and sent into body" narrative, be it in Futurama, the Simpsons, Archer or where ever ^^
It's a shame I couldn't see the commandant more often as I really liked his model :)
Aiming was a bit too hard for me as it was kind of "jumpy" as in it reacted too sensitively to the mouse movement or something? Can't tell if thats because I'm a noob at shooters though.
I feel like it would be cooler if you'd make the aiming less jumpey, but the germs die at one shoot already :)
Also to balance off my noobness, I just kept shooting like a maniac as soon as I realized I can't hurt my own buds ^^
So maybe make the shooting more fair, but also add friendy fire :)
I played both levels and liked that you could actually fly? (swim? frankly, I have NO iea what the little things in our bodies do ^^) inside of the lung tubes (preeeetty sure that's not how it's called, but nevermind ^^) where more of those germ fuckers where hidden, that had a nice touch! :)
It would have been great if you'd show some sort of bad thing happening if you take too long to play, I think th germs respawned? But since I was playing I couldn't tell for sure, maybe add a counter, countdown, or make goals for both parties! Like the germs building some sort of "castle" or something (I'm sure there's some sort of anatomic equivalent that could be interpreted as a "fort" in a cute game-like way ^^)
I also feel like it would be great if you could add antibodies in a sort of tower defense fashion :)
Story-wise, it would be sweet if you are some sort of protector of the body who commands all the cells, a sort of Lorax of the immune system if you will ^^
I liked that you provided 2 levels, I can imagine that could be really interesting if you added a cancer level, as cancer cells attack your own cells and turn them into baddies, "cell zombies" or something :)
All in all, a cool entry, nice progress for 3 days :) Good job you two!
Aiming could indeed use some tweaking, I added a sensitivity option for this reason but I guess a smoothing curve would also be beneficial.
Friendly fire was considered as a feature, but I was afraid it would often cause "accidents" and frustrate the players rather than make it an enjoyable challenge.
Similarly, I originally intended the bacteria to slowly multiply, but this would require lots of play tests to tweak the rate to the proper difficulty, and we didn't have time for that.
Cancer cells would be a cool idea, we also intended to add virus enemies who would possess cells and cause them to spawn more enemies, then your B-cells and T-cells (important cells of the immune reaction) would track and fight those too. Again, we were short of time and prefered to slash those features in favor of a more polished basic gameplay.
Thanks again for playing, stay awesome! :)
