Stuck in your office for life, this is what awaits you if you can't escape in STUCK IN THE OFFICE. In this puzzle platformer, you will have to reach the exit to escape, to do so use your clones from the past / push crates or interact with your environment.

But will you manage not to get Stuck in a loop?

How to play?

In this game, the goal is simple, just get to the exit of the office. For this, you can freeze in time to create statues of you to serve as a platform or to help you get out of this hell.

Wow, I adore the visuals on this one. Super moody man. Luckily I had a controller to try it out on and it was great. Controls feel tight. Would love more of an ambient music scene too!!!

Nice visuals and idea, fits with the theme. The only problem is that you need a controller. I was lucky to have one at hand. Graphics are cool and it's overall good fun.

Looks solid, was quite fun and interesting, and challenging.
But eventually I got stuck and quit - I placed a guy on 2nd button and stuck myself.
I also was confusing Y and B button - reset - place the guy.

Mechanics are cool, and it fits the theme. However, I did'nt realise at first that the level was looping on itself because of the vignetting. And, like @tigerija I often was confusing Y and B, maybe some option to remap controls could be cool?

Good job overall!

Lovely little game with great mood and fitting music and visuals. I had a blast trying my luck at the different puzzles!

One improvement I would have is to add coyote/hang time to the jumping as it was a bit annoying when you would just walk off the edge and it makes you fall despite pressing the jump button.

Great job on this game, very nicely done in such a short time limit! Well done!

The graphics and idea look great. I wish the game could be played with keyboard, I don't have a controller.

Aaaaaaahhh, I'm a sucker for puzzle platformers, and this one's no exception. All-around very well-polished, nice job!

I do think the timer is a biiiiiiit too short, especially during the later levels where it basically demands perfection, but I'm not really bothered by those kinds of issues because that's a lot to expect from a jam game.

I had a lot of fun with this one, thanks for sharing!

I'm really bad at puzzle platformers but this game has really nice graphics for me to look at as I stare in confusion at the levels so that really nice.

Great execution on a smart design. You also picked a smart art style for the time constraints of a game jam and followed through on it from start to finish. Well done on all fronts. Also you hit the stuck in a loop theme in so many ways haha. I agree with some of the other comments I saw here about the controls, I kept messing up using B or Y -- It may be as simple as some call outs on the HUD. Awesome work!

I really like the empty office atmosphere and the music, game feels very polished. Was worth the time looking for an old dusty xbox controller. :smile:

Cool concept and nice art. When I was on the last loop of the second lvl, I could move without time restriction.

I can't play your game even with a controller. I could start the game but couldn't move or jump. I don't know how you managed to do this while using Unity. Do try to add keyboard and mouse support next time. It's not that hard.

Very nice game, great polish level for a jam game ! Maybe I didn't play it right but I found it very hard though

The art and mood here is super good! I was a bit confused at first about the gamepad support only, but once I got it working it played very nicely and the puzzles were all interesting. I do highly recommend adding keyboard support next time/in the future to increase the potential playerbase of you game. Good job!

Nice Concept with interesting mechanics. I also liked the style of the game. One thing you could add though is the ability to reset the level. But nevertheless a really good entry!

I don't know what the problem is, but I'm not able to get past the menu screen. When it starts up, the Play option is grayed out, then it goes to normal, but I'm not able to start the game. It doesn't respond to any input. I haven't rated, but I thought I'd give you a heads up that some people might not be able to play your game.

This game is really interesting in that the main mechanic works really well. However, I got pretty confused about a few things, because they weren't explained very well, like that you could 'teleport' by going outside the level. I didn't know how to do the first big level, because I couldn't get my last guy to run all the way to the top in time, the timer was just too short. Anyway, I think the game looks, sounds and functions really well, I just wish there was a little more explanation :) Good job guys, hope you keep developing this.

The game was pretty good. I liked the graphics and the ambiance. But personally I don't think a puzzle platformer is really relevant with a "die and retry" gameplay loop style. For sure it goes along with the theme but it creates more frustration than fun. Maye delete the timer and focus more on the puzzle part? Because the fact that you can add a statue of yourself is a really interesting design choice I think!

I was really interested in playing this game, but keyboard doesnt work. I plugged my switch controller that works in most of my steam games, and it's not working either.

Interesting game! The aesthetic and music fit well together, getting past the first elevator room was kinda tricky. Great game!
I'm not sure how to beat the last room, but I found a bug I think where if you stand under the elevator it pushes you into the lower floor.
