Don't Let it Pop! by gstein

[raw]
made by gstein for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Tap/click to blow the bubble around, but watch out for spikes! Just a simple little game, but it's good to kill a few minutes.screenshot.png First time making something for LD, just happy I made a game I still enjoyed after having to play it so much in a day.

Background music is a remix of "1 minute" released as CC0 by thisismyusername (https://opengameart.org/content/1-minute). All other sounds came out of my mouth.

I like the menus and the feel of the movement of the bubble. I think a bit more incentive to move the would have made it even more fun. Still a really nice first ld game :)

I think this is a really nice and fun game. I played on web, but could see it being a great mobile game with different levels and obstacles! Nice work :)

I survived 130 seconds and stopped. The idea is cool, but I think the difficulty needs to ramp up as time passes. It's great that it's available for Android!

Good gameplay, but it lacks some sorts of scoring bonuses to push to tthe fault :)

Core game was pretty fun. Agreed about the difficulty ramp up, could be a little steeper.

It's a great first start. Fits the theme very well. If you could scale the difficulty somewhat, you'd have a very enjoyable mini-game.

its a really neat little game. very clean and satisfying to play. it keeps with the theme very well. it would be nice to have some sort of objective to the game other than just survive.

an idea that i had was to collect small bubbles that give you a bonus to your score but makes you bigger making it progressively harder to get through smaller gaps

This is very entertaining! The game is pretty relaxing, but not boring! I like the simple graphics here! Good game!

Great take on the theme! I love score attack games, any time a LD game has a score, I want to beat everyone's high-scores in the comments.

I could see this turning into a very cool mobile game, you should continue developing it

Great job!

A very simple and relaxing little jam game. Perhaps a bit too easy, but it is not a big issue. I like it. Well done.

Wow, grat game with a simple idea. I would add some background to feel the movement when no spike is around, but the take on the theme and the game are great :D I wouldn´t mind a level type of game with this mechanic, great job :)

I also also wouldn't mind a pionter.

And also also also here is a new high socre :v
