Try to survive on this unlucky day.

Unlucky Day is a 2D game where you must protect a poor unlucky boy who, on his way, will encounter several mishaps.

On your way, you will come across traps of various kinds such as a flower pot falling from a window for example or an open manhole.

To protect the boy from an accident, you can find on the map various objects that can be caught and used to thwart the traps.

Try to survive as long as possible, the longer you will last, the more difficult the game will become ! So, how many time will you keep him alive ?

I love the game idea! The controls are really intuitive and it's fun to think on your toes like that. With a little more polish and the addition of some more traps, this could make a very fun mobile game!

A short and relaxing game. You have great graphic style for your first game! Gameplay could be improved by find way to stop the cheesing strategy, i.e just put umbrella on top of the character.

I definitely had fun playing this game, great use of the theme too. Just one tip is that the art is a bit inconsistent, for example the tree. Try to keep the pixels per unit the same for every object, so every pixel has the same scale. For the rest, great job!

Hard to drop and pickup items, but I really like the idea. Quite original. Perfectly in line with the theme! Nice!

Love the aesthetics and the mood in this game. The gameplay is not too challenging, but it is not boring either. I don't know why, but the background reminds me very much a game called Urban Champion for NES. Haha. Overall as for me, I enjoyed it very much.

Pretty cool game. Saw similar gameplay before, but mechanics are anyway nice. Art, music and mood are very cool

I really like your art and music, the controls are intuitvie and the game looks really polished. The only problem I encountered was the fact that it's quite repetitive. Still a nice and fun game :)

His puppy fell down the hole and bod didn't care! Killed him right after that :imp:

Jokes aside, loved the graphics and sound. Some traps are not easily telegraphed so it takes trial and error to understand what to do.

It wasn't intuitive that I should keep the lid instead of plucking the hole.

Solid game, I liked the pixel art and the short looping song fit great. Some sound effects for picking up objects or being hit would have been a nice touch though. Very chill and fun game :)

I really like the art. However, the limited number of traps and difficulty of picking up items made the game repetitive quickly. Overall, great game.

An umbrella bailed out of me the right moment when I needed it.
I like the game. The music is kind of relaxing but once it speeds up I doesn't mix very well (music to calm, gameplay too fast). The lightning is good. I would like to see more kind of traps. Nice work!

Good game. First time seeing mechanic like that. Game mood is good to. The only thing I didn't like was sound, it is a bit mysterious and seemed to not fit with overall game. Would be glad to see how project will continue. :D

Great work, the game nicely matches the theme and i could see the mechanic working great on mobile with drag inputs. The difficulty started a little hard and could do with a soft in-game tutorial that shows me how to interact. The artwork is lovely btw :-)

Good work! Usually in these games you only need to tap, but here you have to combine elements and hold items for a while, which is pretty new. A zoom would have been helpful, and some sound would have added to the "death" variety.

Think the music fits with the moody, dark art style. Smooth gameplay too and really like the idea! A few more trap ideas/some sense of endgame would have been nice touches but generally a really great entry!

Poor little boy, having to suffer from my incompetence. I will report myself to the authorities for negligence. But the local maintainance people must take some share the blame. Leaving a manhole open like that, that's just not acceptable.

Very cute graphics, especially the cat :) The idea is cool, but I think that it needs a bit more explanation about gameplay, bcs I didn't really get how the umbrella works at the first time. I would enjoy it a lot more with more traps but its nice and smooth even with 3 of them.

I couldn’t do anything! I was surprised that an umbrella can only be used once. In general, the game was not very successful. But I love pixel graphics! And this is an original idea. I have not seen such games! great
