Web Build When? :3

A decent idea but some of those prompts are roooough. Even "Start With" had me banging my head against the monitor, I even gave up and it wasn't until I came here to write a comment and typed it out that I realized it was referencing the theme. Going back there were a few other fill-in-the-blanks that were a bit esoteric, such as the one in the screenshot; the fact that you had to put a hint in the scene (which I thought was a hint at first and not a verbatim answer). Needs a lot of focus testing to get those puzzles right I think.

The rest was well done tho.

A pretty interesting idea, and also very striking aesthetically. The puzzle with the answer in the shadows in particular was a little funky, but I assume that was to teach how the light works. Overall I was intrigued all the way through, I would love to see a more complete version of this someday. Great job! :)

interesting concept. but requires a lot to get onto the road... as a new player I was totally confused for several times. different may have different understandings on things, and that make the language we speak special. maybe consider this.

Oh my goodness, I thoroughly enjoyed this game! While I understand where @ketura is coming from I was able to ultimately get the correct prompts. For those that don't, I understand why it might be frustrating.

Aside from that I was VERY satisfying to discover the prompts, the mood was 10/10 and the creativity was also 10/10. And I generally don't like these types of games. And to be honest I didn't mind the lack of art and would not have noticed had it been mentioned.

I forgot to mention when I typed "No" as my last prompt and then the game transitioned I burst out laughing. 10/10 humor ;P

I really loved the vibes and the mood that this game creates! It is certainly very satisfying to get the right answer, but I think it's not quite obvious enough in certain scenarios. It would at least be great to have a hint button or something that will help you find the answer. I unfortunately got stuck and wasn't able to finish it, but I loved the visual style and the music in what I did see, and the entire concept is very cool. Well done!

The puzzles were just about the right difficulty and the visuals were stunning. I could imagine this as an interactive way to learn collocations in a foreign language or maybe memorize a poem? So many possibilities!

I loved the mood of this.
And I got through the game fine without the easy mode.
The only thing that threw me off for a bit was the light part, I thought it was a static image since I thought the controls were just typing, but then when I moved my mouse I got it.

Oh, and there's a slight bug when you overflow the text box.

Very creative idea. And very well executed. I guess if you are not very familiar with the subject is quite hard to guess the words.

Thanks for playing my game the other day! I thought your game was awesome! I was able to finish the non-hint version without too much trouble. The first puzzle with the light confused me at first but the solution was a beautiful ah-ha moment and the visual effect is simple but unique and fun! I also did not understand the shield mechanic at first, I eventually figured it out but it was less of an ah-ha, maybe it could be signposted better that the shield avoids the light. The audio was great and built a satisfying lofi atmosphere along with the art. One of the more conceptually interesting entries I've played! I wonder if you could tease any interesting gameplay out of the "cursor is a light source" effect you have in there. Nice Work!

Very creative and effective! For the second-to-last puzzle, my mouse just happened to end up in the right place, but I thought I had the word wrong because I couldn't type it fast enough :). Had to download the easy version to verify the answer. I like it, and would play a longer version!

Well polished, I am a GMS user, and I like what you did with the particle and shader! And the puzzle is too hard for me, a non-English mother tongue player Haha, I had to play casual one to beat the game! Still, great game you've made!

Interesting little game of wordplay. Managed to get through the no cheats version of the game. I agree that some people might have trouble guessing some of the wordplay present but I personally think there were enough hints on the original version. Playing around with the objects to look for hints was really fun! And yes, yelling PENIS at the end works. Great game!

I like the overall concept, but if you're going to make me complete Bible passages to proceed, at least let me use the actual words. I typed "waters" two or three times before I realized the game was demanding it in the singular despite the verse being "divide the waters from the waters."

@ryusui I actually meant to do exactly that (allow plurals for 'land/lands' and 'water/waters') but I totally forgot-- thanks for the suggestion

Very good job at pulling into the environment and straddling the line between text game and graphical game. I stumbled on a few of the puzzles, especially the one that was two words. I resorted to googling one that I shouldn't have had to, because I felt I had already typed it... but I guess I must have had a typo or something.

The way it unfolds with more interaction than initially expected is a really nice property, and I think you've done a nice job of picking an aesthetic you can execute on, and delivering it nicely.

Well done! The ain't no nuclear mutant punch-out, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
