Polish Python by rufson

[raw]
made by rufson for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

One day a giant Indian python terrorized Poland... A 18-foot creature was slithering around and scaring everyone!!! For the few months the police, drones, soldiers and volounteers were involved in a serious search of the dangerous animal. It was forbidden to take walks near the Vistula river with little children and pets which might have become a nice snacks for the python.

A game is based on a true story...

controls - mouse only (or finger)

Audio is hilarious, the camera movement adds so much. Sprite animations for everything was fantastic. Good gameplay easy to learn and not fail instantly. Wanted to try eating everything to see the animation/hear it's death sounds. Great work.

I will now fear for my life every time I walk near the banks of Vistula. Loved the aesthetics and the sound design. Game really made me feel like a monstrous escaped python praying on human (and dog) flesh 5/5.

Interesting game. I liked the camera movement a lot, it gives an good action moment, and the SFX is good too. I didnt get why the snake cant move all the time, even if i'm not being seeing by a drone. Overall, good work.

That was one sick game hehe, I love how you just keep munchin' them babies, the python scream really gets you into berzerker mode. A bit tricky to controll at times, but trippy as hell! Top score for humor there! Cheerz!

Definitely unique...

Movement could be a bit better. Python following mouse constantly would be more intuitive, but you get used to it.

Leaderboard is a nice addition, you don't find those often here.

Cheers!

Strange but neat game. Controls felt a bit funky, I think it would have been nicer just to have the snake follow your mouse smoothly.

lol this was amazing :p The camera movements became too much and was a bit disorienting but this was very trippy and the most unique game I have seen so far! Well done, I love the hi score feature as well :)

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I clicked the thumbnail but I'm glad I did. You have a 5/5 in humor, thats granted, but the game was also really fun, spent a solid 10 minutes playing it and had a ton of fun. Great work.

Hi there very playable and easy to understand, bit memey for my taste, but obviously that's subjective. Camera movement adds a lot but got a little extreme. Good job.

This game hurt my brain. And I'm reasonably sure it hurt my computer as well. xD

Seriously, I'm feeling quite funny after playing this for a while, trying to make it into the top 10. Without success unforunately. My python skills are lacking. :(

Great job though, one of the most unique ideas (and executions) I've seen so far.
