This was adorable and challenging, loved the animations on the characters, lots of crunch throughout, very well done!

Very cute and fun, but still challenging. Sometimes I could jump indefinitly but except that, it's a well made game ! Bravo!

I love the aesthetic of this game. The goal was a little confusing.

Lovely little game, but a little too difficult for me given the lack of fine-tuned physics. But I still felt the urge to get all the way through, it's just the right length.

Adorable! This is an impressive amount of art and animation for a game jam - and even a credits sequence. I was impressed that the music punched out right as it hit the closing title card - but maybe that was a very fortunately coincidence?

I think a few tweaks to the platforming would help the feeling a lot:
* Preserve the player's horizontal motion in the air for just a little bit. Coming to a complete stop when releasing the button is hard to get used to.
* Allow some control over the player's jump height. I've implemented this in the past by reducing the player's gravity until they release the spacebar.
* Add the slightest pause or some kind of little animation between death and respawn, so you don't immediately run to your death because you're still holding down a move key.

Really charming game, felt really well put together & thought out. Everything from the scrunched up paper to the cute graffiti in the background felt right at home. The sound effects tied together what was a very whimsical exeperience. Thank you for sharing your game with us

Awesome visual style! I liked the level design too. It felt difficult / unforgiving, which I think is partly due to the platforming mechanics (as @bmacintosh has pointed out), and I fell from the end of level 3 back to the start, but I continued to the end anyway. Really nice!

The visuals look cool and consistent, good job there!

What I liked:
- the visual style
- the single big world, with different levels embedded into the same space (no loading, no splits, seamless world)
- the musing was fine, but got repetitive after some time.

What I'd improve:
- the controls are not very precise, sometimes the character seemed to be sliding, and I had trouble hitting some of the platforms.
- collision detection has something to be desired. It took me 10+ minutes to complete level 3, because I had a really hard time jumping on the letters and staying on them. Very often, it looked like the character will fall on a wall, but instead died in the water.

Checking and tuning collision boxes could help the game a lot. Same for polishing the controls. But that's usually the most difficult thing about platformers. Otherwise, good job!

Love the visuals.

- Love the style and especially in the credits it has that really cool notebook/paper cartoon feel to it.
- Good music selection for the game

BUT:
- I feel the control's couldve been a tad bit improved on, for example it was difficult jumping on the letters sometimes. It would fall.

But very nice!

I love the concept, the mood, the paper drawing... wow ! ^^
It's true that the mechanic is hard sometimes and a little bit difficult to get to the end !

Cool visual style. I wanted to try hand drawn art but chickened out and stuck with what I know.
The platforming needs some tuning to tighten up the game feel.

This was fun and challenging. Also that art is great and really fits the game. Did you make the music, because I liked it a lot. Some of the platforming was a little unforgiving, but for a few days worth of work I think you did a great job. Good stuff!

I love the overall hand drawn style you went for, it's really cute!! The platforming was tricky for me because it felt kinda slippery and imprecise as other people have mentioned, but I still enjoyed the experience alot! I like the climbing aspect of the game too. Also I think theres a minor glitch, the climbing animation and sound keeps playing after you jump off a ladder if you continue holding W :P This was a fun game with a big open world to explore, awesome graphics and a unique mood!! Good luck and keep up the great work :D

Cute art style. Really liked the overall tone of the game. Had a little bit of difficult jumping off of the hanging bars in level 3. Characters were polished and fun. Great jam!
