I really liked the idea of syncing orbital trajectories to do objectives. Wow. Simple. Brillant. I wish the asteroids weren't as punishing as they currently are. Solid entry. Great job!

the spaceship could have health, so it could take damage when the asteroid hits it and give you another chance. Also there could be some background music/noise. Overall simple, but good game. Can be improved with more tasks to do and maybe more planets at the same time to orbit in different shapes like 8 or some other ones.

Really good game, the controls took a little to get used to but I quickly got addicted. Clever take on the theme as well. Simple and well-executed.

tricky controls, but a good little game. I found it easier to stay in one place, just boosting towards and away from the planet, and just do a tiny bit of each ring as it came around. Probably not how it's meant to be played, but still

It took a while before I noticed the power gauge and realized that left/right increment and decrement my speed each click rather than applying steady acceleration while held down. Once I figured that out I was able to do a lot better. I still keep forgetting that my controls don't rotate around the orbit and then hitting the wrong buttons when trying to dodge asteroids, but I think that's just me being sleepy. I'm dying a lot but it's fun!

Yeah I never got the controls to feel right... Debated on switching it around but I wanted the main move mechanic to be inspired by real orbital mechanics so I stuck with this. Maybe it would have been easier if the camera rotated with the rocket. That would have had a lot of different issues though... Better luck next time :)

Good idea with the health. It was on my todos which I never got around to together with more kinds of missions with more points, sizes, speeds etc...

Thanks for the feedback :)

I feel like either the pickups should be moving at one of the 'power'/velocity levels the same as the player, or that the player should have variable control over the acceleration/movement rather than the discrete steps (as @pizzasgood mentioned). Lining things up, and then keeping them lined up was a bit too difficult for me. A great use of the theme though. As you've said, better luck next time.

Nice one! This gave me flashbacks to docking maneuvers in Kerbal Space Program. The controls for such maneuvers are similarly confusing here and in that game, but that is a part of the fun. I ended up waiting for more donuts to spawn, which was not super satisfying - they could spawn as soon as there are none in orbit to increase the pace a bit.

Cool idea. The controls are a bit difficult to get used to though.

@gwinnell yeah I now wonder why I didn't have more sensitive speed controls... I think I decided in the beginning that it would look better in the UI with a segmented display. But what you say makes a lot of sense. Should have rethought that. UI seems like a weird priority in this case :D

That got me playing for a while! Took me a bit to get a hang of the controls, but once you do it works really well! It's a nice mobile idea

nice idea, my brain really struggled to remember just which way up and down made me travel so I kept crashing into the planet

Great job. Controls took a bit to get used to but after a while I got used to it and it was enjoyable

@thedarkmagi @idunnyx yeah the controls are the weak point of this game as discussed above :)
Thank you for playing though :)
