Escape from the Ferris Wheel by Adam Jewell

This is a short point and click adventure game made in a few hours with the theme stuck in a loop. It is my first submission and I had a very small amount of time to do it in!

You're stuck on a Ferris Wheel that won't stop, and only by climbing to the other carriages and talking to the other passengers can you hope to save yourself, and everyone else.

The underlying message is that we're all stuck on the same wheel of life, connected and sharing a mutual fate. Even if we usually only seem to see our own problems, there is a greater threat that can only be solved by acting on behalf of the whole. A very crude analogy to real life, especially with the climate situation and destruction of nature we're facing.

made in adventure game studio. learning to use it for the first time during the jam!

Implemented interactions are Look at, Push and Talk to

Funny story. After I gave him the rope it didn't really end the game, just stuck on the ferris wheel forever. Which fits.

Haha, a minimal point and click adventure game; nice! I liked how you can travel between the seats of the ferris wheel. It's always hard to learn tools as you go during the jam, so congrats on finishing something!

Simple text adventure game, had some issues with the dialogue repeating even after completing the objective and after I got the rope and gave it to the guy the game didn't end. Some music and sound effects would have helped out a lot as well.

I think the game design was solid. The pixel art was nice. Forever trapped on a stopped wheel, or is it still spinning? Great job.
