Beautiful visuals. Game play is decent enough for a jam game.

Sound got repetitive quick. Text was SUPER small and hard to read.

Cool art style! And It's fun, though it is a bit too dark. Had the issue that I was killed because a bobblething was hidden behind a rock or something. But I there was no object visible.

The artwork for this game is very well done and I enjoyed that the story went in a different direction than I expected. (I expected to end up dead, but instead I had a companion, nice stuff)

attacking doesnt work when you are too close to enemies. except that bug the graphics are state of art. Nice story and nice game.

Looks very good. Sometimes the enemies get hiden behind decorations. Also the falling ground is not very fair. Otherwise a great game.

Nice graphics, quite basic gameplay, two hit animations. I liked that there were some story to the characters.Leaps of faith. Cheap deaths, like falling through invisible holes in the floor straight to spikes... which, after the fifth try lead me to regreattably quit. I would have liked to see the story through.

All the sprites and illustrations, as stills, look beautiful. A few of the animations could have been more dynamic (for instance, the bat flying; because the body wasn't moving up and down opposite the wings, it didn't feel like it had weight).

The music was nice but got repetitive quickly because the loop was so short. Some SFX would go a long way to get immersed in the world.

The story was a nice framing of the gameplay, but proofreading the dialogue better would go a long way in making your game feel more polished and engaging.

Well done for 72 hours.

Very interesting. The controlls are nice and punchy. I think the level graphics were a bit confusing.

The game is good: great graphics, music and story. But it has a serious lack of checkopint: If you die, you have do do miles before you can continue (also, enemy and hazards shoudn't reset when you die?? just saying...)

Also, give some general feedback for what happens on the screen (Possibly with some sound effects)

Well done! The graphics are okay and I like the death particles.

However, the game felt quite frustrating. The music loop is very short and becomes annoying after a while. The respawn time is maybe too long and the disappearing platforms are probably not visible enough, which gives an unfairness feeling.

All in all, the small story is nice and it is pretty good for the short time and the fact that you were alone working on it.

Nice character movements. I missed some FX and game feedback when hits an enemy.
By the way: don't fall from the elevator! There's no way to continue! hahaha

Wow, cool game! I love the aesthetics of it and the story idea. I did have some problems with platforms which I fell through, perhaps because I played during daylight and it may not have been very easy to indentify those. But other than that, I enjoyed it. Good job!

I loved the look of the game, and the basic mechanics were fun. The invisible pits into spikes were a bit frustrating when retrieving the artifact, especially considering the long elevator ride to retry. A little more effort into the story text to use real words instead of abbreviations would have gone a long way as well. Overall, though, fantastic job and I enjoyed it!

The art and story were excellent. I really liked the idea but found the platforming flakey had a lot of trouble with the elevators. I would have been even better with some sound effects when you swing or hit.

Lovely art! Simple but efficient and nice little story. A lack of feedback on some elements (current life some hidden element of level design...)

The simple art background paired with the more detailed characters was fantastic. With a swooshing sound effect when you attacked and some more feedback when you attacked the enemies this would be a great game. The speed of the character felt fluid and the story was good. If I had to find one fault the foreground ground could do with a little more detail to make it easier to see where you are running as in some situations the fall through floor looked very similar to the normal floor. I died alot on the spikes so maybe its just me. If this was made into a full game i would play this alot.

Nice graphics :)

// For future improvements - I missed sound effects or health bar to warn me that I am going to die. (or I didn't hear or see that :)

Really nice looking main character animations and fun gameplay. A health bar or some indicator I'm taking damage would go a long way especially since the slime enemies at the start can be really hard to interpret if theyre damaging you or not.

It was a cool game. I love the attack animation, it's so dynamic.

Did she kill me in the end? I didn't get if she was hugging the character or sucking his blood.

Got a lot done during the jam! I didn't care much for the disappearing platforms part, and the character felt a little too quick (though the fights had punch to them, so it felt satisfying to kill). Liked the story and graphics too!

Really liked the colour palette in this one and the animation. The fall throught platforms were challenging and I did miss the healthbar as well.

Wow a lot of content here. Good work, nice graphics.
The floor that opens for you to fall on the trap sometimes opens up with bad timing, early or late.
Nice approach to the theme.

Really stunning graphics. It seems you went all out on the animations and art. Love the fights and the story. However there were few bugs here and there which caused me restart few times. Overall, a beautiful and stunning game.

Good game overall, I like the animations and controls, smooth.

Maybe a checkpoint feature would be nice. It was a bit annoying to walk till the place where I died and again fall for the same trap :joy:

The traps were sneaky and nice xD

When the lift goes up it would be nice to have a vertical parallex effect if that's possible, like the horizontal one. Is it possible to have both together?

Nice art style, loved the animation :). Music did get a bit repetitive for the entire game, especially when I kept dying to clipping issues with the pitfall traps into spikes -> repeat the whole level :P.

There were also a few odd places where the collision seemed to be off/missing (example below), other than that, was a comfy little game.

Nice art and quite fun, although a little repetitive and not a lot of depth in the fighting except for hitting the attack as fast as possible.

There were quite a few spelling mistakes (understandable for a jam) and the fonts used in the conversation was too small.

Vertical parallax on the background would have helped, on one of the elevators I wasn't sure if the elevator was moving or not, because the background was static.

I loved the art style and animations, amazing quality for a jam game! <3 I feel like there should be some midway control points where you can save a game? overall a nice entry!

Interesting game. Liked the game overall but there are a few glitches (I think, not sure if it was supposed to be like that) there are a few spike pits with no indication that you will fall through, also the elevator didn't work the second time after I died until I jumped on it a few times. Even so, thanks for a nice game, you did a lot in 3 days. Good work.
