Station 8 by quadtree

Note: This is a game about making incremental progress each time the robots drag you back to the pod, since you keep all the programs you collect. It's possible to complete the entire level on one "life" on low difficulty, but not really expected.

Try to escape the endless loop of being thrown back into the pod by the robots of Station 8. Collect the three key programs and get to the pod bay door to escape. Luckily, the robots don't erase programs from your multi-tool. Your multi-tool has limited energy though, so use it wisely.

Note: I recommend playing this game in Chrome. Firefox will work but performance is worse and there are a few minor bugs.

Controls: * WASD/Arrow Keys - Move * Space - Jump * Left Click - Shoot

Fun little game.
Took me a while to understand that I die when I run out of ammo.
Nice that the pickups are maintained after death.
I did however find even the Easy setting very difficult.
Not sure what they keys are used for.
So I ended up running around dodging the enemies and luckily found the exit.

I will rate your game once the ratings open up.

I liked the graphics and the idea. I agree with @james-joubert that the easy part found as an hard part.

This is a nice game.
I also played on easy and died like 8 times. The one bad point was that the reticule only works well over a longer distance. For schorter distances, it's off by quite a bit, mostly causing my to shoot against walls when I tried to stay behind cover.

The first robot that charged me actually startled me :D

Very atmospheric FPS. Baiting robots one by one and shooting them is very satisfying and the stealth factor in this game is really good. The models are very nice and simple, the atmospheric soundtrack fits the scene.

As mentioned in the first review though, the Easy setting is already really hard. I ran out of ammo really fast and eventually just ran through the level to win.

Fun game!! Also made difficult for me since I "invert Y" for my camera. It did make it a lot more diffuclt

Nice idea. It's similar to the concept of my game, but here at least you can fight back. Good job!

Very nice art style. It would be nice to have an indicator when enemies are hit

Pretty good concept from what I could get though but I kept dying on normal. Had to switch to easy to make progress but that could have just been me.

Nice game. I liked the gameplay but I found it a little hard to shoot the robots. Also i tried hard but couldnt win the game in one go on easy. Maybe thats just a problem for me. Anyway you did a good job. Keep going!

Really nice game with huge, nicely designed map. Took me a while to finish on hard, the best way is to just run and jump ignoring robots ;)

I really enjoyed slowly learning the map, and what upgrades do what. Difficulty options were highly appreciated as well, good game, thank you!

I like the idea, upgrades could use a description or something, feels somewhat easy to just rush for the keys, at least at medium difficulty. Fun take on the theme.

Fun game. More feedback on why you die would be great. I didn't try the other difficulties, but easy was challenging enough for me

I beat it and had fun doign it. I love the low poly art style so much. For feedback: (like some other comments) I didn't know why I was dying but eventually figured it out. I really liked this! Thanks for making it and submitting it!
