Wow! Beautiful graphics. The game concept is simple, but fun. The sound effects are very well chosen and I also like the fact that there is hardly any music. That adds to the atmosphere. And the transitions are also really cool.

There are so many LDJAM games this year that revolve around keeping fires lit, but this is by far the most beautiful of them. The gameplay was simple and relaxing (but not so easy as to be boring), and the subtle sound effects really helped to seal the mood. But boy, that art is something else.

By the by, if you're looking to generate more ratings LDJAM has a system that rewards people for participation. The more games you rate and leave feedback on, the more visible your own game becomes. Seems a shame that this has so few ratings. It was really nice work.

Wow! This game is beautiful :) . The atmosphere that this sets between the visuals, sounds and gameplay is impressive. Great entry!

What a great entry! The art style looks great and is very impressive. Gameplay and sounds were great along with the music which was subtle. I really liked your take on the theme as well. Awesome job!

This is really a standout. The audio, graphics and overall polish were incredible. I had fun playing this! If I could offer any feedback, I got past the first level, but overall it didn't seem like items changed much. Would be cool if there were more of them!

The way you keep the fire alive using the hands is unique and interesting.

I didn't find out you can drag the logs to the fire until a few minutes in. Silly me thought it was part of the background.

This is super cute! The artstyle is absolutely lovely. I think the game could benefit from a few UI things like some sort of indicator of how long is left in the night, as well as an indication of what the alcohol actually does (I wasn't sure if there was a "right time" to use it or if you should just use it immediately?).

Really incredible style to this game. The fun aspect was lacking quite a bit unfortunately. I'd love to see it be a little more fleshed out with a better control scheme. I gave the art and the mood 5 stars though. Well done!

Can I just say the art of this game is absolutely top notch? It has a lot of personality, it's gorgeous! The entire experience is quite soothing, the animations follow along very nicely.

I have seen multiple takes on the theme involving a flame but this one is a bit unique and it did surprise me and make me smile when I started playing! My only criticism would maybe be to make the logs stand out a little bit more, as I didn't know I could interact with them at first - until I read the comments.
Other than that, it's beautiful!

I found this quite a relaxing game to play... that probably doesn't make sense as you're trying to keep the flame alive - but the sound, artwork and atmosphere is very pleasing and relaxing. The gameplay is simple, but engaging - well done!

Gorgeous game, I love the style and technique. Got a real mythology by way of Mike Mignola feel to it. Kinda difficult for me though.

I'll echo what everyone else here said - the art is beautiful! I did like the sounds too, both together really set the mood. As for the gameplay, it was fun, and simple, but I think the controls could have been made more user friendly - I often found myself dragging the hand a little too far by accident and missing a snowflake, which was a little frustrating. Nice game!

Looks nice, but i didn`t get it. So i add some logs and alcohol, but it`s not heating up. I guess little tutorial would make it much better. At least tutorial screen

Overwhelming graphics and creative gameplay! Inspired by the game’s theme, the game can also have its own adventure in itself: Each level has one more night during a great hike that each player must survive. Anyway, I didn’t get the idea for a bottle of liquor (but it seems to come back as well as logs). I would add more "feedback" elements to this game; such as when a “new wave of flakes” is coming, you may hear the sounds of the wind or something to be able to prepare for it more. I also prefer moving hands in any position.
(e.g., objects are moved by touching any point on the display device so that the hand closest to the point of contact moves to the correct position relative to the point of contact)

p.s. Suomi Finland prkle!

Really good graphics and audio. I felt that the controls needed refined, but this may just have been my slow P.C.
