Nice! Kinda reminds me of those old mouse avoider games (which I love).

Reasonably fun, but most of the levels you just always have to start by disabling all (or most) of the zappers, and having a global lives system where you have to lose life to continue doesn't seem fun (and it seems like you agreed and gave way more lives than needed)

I don't get how it fits the theme though.

@notgreat Yea, unfortunately getting a solid set of levels was tough with the time limit. The global lives system was thrown in at the last second because like you said, just turning everything off was always the solution so I wanted there to be some kind of risk behind it. I was going to have Zappers that toggled on/off different zap fields to have more of an action aspect to it. Also a timer may have gave the levels a more urgent feeling, which may have allowed for you to make more mistakes and feel more pressured to go faster. And yea, the theme was based around having to figure out how to collect the sparks (since you don't start with them) without losing but with how I designed the levels they're fairly trivial. Thanks for taking the time to comment and give feedback! Much appreciated!

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/-U44UyPCEiM

Nicely done. I was skeptical about using the mouse to move, but very quickly fell in love with it. The levels felt a bit repetitive, but great concept overall!

interesting idea, found the levels to be a bit too easy perhaps but that is a start ... an ambient music would be a good idea in the future to set a mood for the game

Well imagined puzzle game. It could have done with some sound, and I felt you could have made more of the potential puzzle elements by making more of the zappers in the levels optional to disable. So you could try and navigate a difficult route or spend shocks opening up an easier path.

I enjoyed playing the game and the graphics were nice. I like the pixel art especially on the electricity itself :zap:

I loved graphics, and game have a good potencial, but it miss something... maybe some challenge, or some purpose

Anyway, well done !

Nice game, but too easy. Maybe zappers should drain your shocks while disabled so that you have to be quick.

Pretty fun puzzle but it really needs sound otherwise, despite solid gameplay it just gets boring.

Interesting puzzle game. In the beginning the controls felt a little strange to me, I thought that you couldn’t pick up the power core, so I was trying to move it around by smacking it with the sparks. I think that this is a game that really could have benefited from having audio, both background music to set the tone and something so that I knew when I was touching the zappers. The puzzles in the game were pretty cool, although forcing the player to make more meaningful choices with which zappers to disable could have been cool. I don’t know how well this game fits with the theme of start with nothing, other then starting needing to collect two orbs. I though that the art for this game was quite good, and worked perfectly with the puzzles. Overall quite a promising game, well done!
