I liked the art and twist on the health bar! I didn't understand how it fits into the theme exactly, and the music get a bit repetitive.

The monster shoots healing bullets and the main character aims to commit suicide. Very interesting.

I had to go back and play this a second time, I think I bumped into a bug. After dying, the dark grey number counting down from 30 and the white number in the top right vanished. The only items that spawned were the poison bottles. Besides that, I really enjoyed this concept, especially how you managed the health bar. Best part by far is the evil quantum monkey, really cool design.

Tough game, but really fun! The art style is really great and the the pace of action is nice and fast, really good entry!

The most fun I've ever had with a suicidal cat. The 'Kill the Monkey' bits were frustratingly difficult, and not as much fun as a result, but I was stubborn and played until I pushed the TNT box all the way to the centre. 'You Win' flashed up for a fragment of a second before the game reset back into the main gameplay, is this a bug? Great fun (mostly) and looks and sounds great. Good job.

Funny take on Schrödinger’s cat, that it's trying to kill itself just to stop being stuck in a superposition :joy:

It wasn't clear that I was progressing at all? I guess the progress resets when you die (live?) but the levels mostly look the same so it's hard to tell (even after winning twice in a row) that anything is changing. I did eventually manage to win though!

The monkey shooting health is a funny idea, but functionally it works the exact same as if it was doing damage to you, the health bar is just a damage bar instead. I wonder if there is a way to make healing be negative without running into this issue...? :thinking:

Thanks a lot guys!

We haven't done the "Game over" UI so yeah, you can see just a flash of "You Win" screen. And then the game resets.
The balance is too difficult I know. In 'Kill the monkey lvl' especially. Thats sad :)

We also didnt finish such feature as feedback on TNT level progress. And thats too bad for understanding of what player should do in this game.
@joeshanahan
You are absolutely right. It works the same as if Monkey doing damage to Cat. And I'm sure there is another way of negative healing. But in this game we need just this feature. There were another ideas instead. Like spawning positive (negative) objects in the box. Slowing you down or stopping you for a second. There a lot of possibilities here. But it takes time. So not today :)
And thats so pleasant some people understand the narrative idea of the game. Amazing!

Really love the arcade feels and unique gameplay. The pleasant surpise when i'm playing this was when the timer reset, the music gotten more catchy and addictive. I think the timer was hard to see but it's really great and interesting game!

So it was incredible experience to work with that. Actually, we hadn't realized correctly timer working by the time that's why we've decided to make levels with out timer.

If cat die by the end of game match, few seconds added to your timer untill you can explode the monkey. You could some scores for killing monkey.
If cat hasn't die by the time, your lost seconds of timer (example 0:30 before match ending 0:25 after)
