You should disable (OPT-OUT) the "Audio" categories, if you use 3rd party audio

Music is really loud, and WASD doesn't work well for my european AZERTY keyboard :p great game tho!

@sausty huh, I thought I had made it keyboard agnostic by using GetAxis instead of strict GetInput, thanks for letting me know!

I immediately got chills down my spine when I heared the Caretaker's music.... Perfect soundtrack for the mood of the game! Really well done.

At first i tought i had to put the wine on the glass, so maybe be more clear with the player (or add some sort of objective list)... What else can i say??? Oh, yes, the atmosphere was good and well made!!!

Creepy and disturbing, you managed to create such an eerie atmosphere just with that one guy and the great writing. Nice job!!

Spooky. Needs a fullscreen button. Initial text moves too fast. Also found it a little difficult to pick up the cigarette, perhaps a larger collider would be good?

Pretty fun game, web versions controls were a bit finicky but I'm pretty sure that was out of your control. The mood was great and I felt on edge through out.

I really like the flat shading and the grain! Completely broke when I died, maybe take a look at how you are reloading the scene?

@lakrits yeah I had trouble with it in testing and gave it a ridiculously large collider, but it didn't seem to help, if I had more time I would have tried finding out what the issue was.

I was creeped out the first time he came after me haha, But really man! nice style, nice music, and nice mood! had some buggy experiences with stuff disappearing but still, nice experience :)

Shouldn't have playedthis before going to bed XD, really great game. My winner for mood so far, such a creepy eperiance and his look and the music and what he says it all just felt so scary, just didn't get the theme connection. Could have been a great VR experience. What a pitty that i can't rate audio

@johannimations it's an admittedly obtuse connection to the theme but the whole sense of you're doing this ghost's? man's? thing's? wishes to regain a sense of the past and "keep it alive"

I really liked the atmosphere, I would love to see a horror game with this vibe!

I very much like the ambience / atmosphere this game gives. Although the lack of lighting kind of kills it for me unfortunately, otherwise I really liked this entry short as it was :)

Defenitally had a creepy atmosphere to it. The impations made it feel a bit anxious too. Good job!

I really liked the art style and sound design! Would be nice to have linux builds and/or enable the fullscreen option on itch.io

23. Apr 2020 · 00:31 UTC
@uberardy yeah I'm not sure *why* the web build can't be fullscreened, I never explicitly disallowed it, as far as Linux builds go, I can upload one tonight, only reason I didn't in the first place is that my internet is super slow so it's hard to upload anything.

Interesting attempt to visuals. And mood also was great. There are two things i strougled through. Font was hard to read and i couldnt get what am i supposed to do to pickup an item. It somehow happened but i still dont know how

Good graphics, good ambiance but lacks of gameplay and interesting mechanics...

Great mood, the ambiance was pretty creepy. Not sure if I played the same version as other comments, but I did not find it especially stressful. The text could be on screen a bit longer, but overhaul nice experience. Too bad the gameplay falls short.

Like the atmosphere in the game. A little bit creepy guy there, which is tense. Nice work!

Very dark atmosphere. Gave me the creeps when I had a hard time finding the cigarettes the first time. I needed the text to update a little bit slower, to keep up with what was written, because because of its unusual font (although I really liked it). It would be interesting to learn a little bit more about the weird guy's backstory. Nice game!

Nice aesthetics! The game was short but it was nice walking around in this room. The ending scared the sh*t out of me.

Music was very loud for me but other than that it was very good!

Well done!

Music real nice and authentic feeling. Neat minimalist art style, though could've used more than 1 tone per object so they don't look flat. The writing worked well to both convey character and inform as what to do as player. The browser player was appreciated too for convenience.

This was the first game of the jam that actually managed to give me a good scare.

Great spooky mood!
Audio was fantastic, and I loved the minimalist art style.
