Nice idea! And getting feeling stuck in a loop pretty fast :)
It direly needs sounds of the family, groans of disdain, etc.

I tried to escape through the door ;)

I loved the audio and graphical style. I cracked up when I had a failed dish and the game over screen said that they person literally left the family XD.

Very nice game, I liked how you did the interaction with people. One thing I would suggest is a pause menu. Good job!

Audio and Gameplay fit very well together, you have to think about what you do to achieve something. It also has some nice secrets, good job!

Game: "First you have to ask the family members what they like and dislike to eat."
Me: "Mom, can u help me test a game? Oh, nevermind, they are talking about in game family" 😁

Nice entry here. I can imagine the amount of work put into this thing, all these random family tastes, dialogs, ingredients pick up, recipes, cooking. It's really impressive what you finished given the time frame.

The resulting gameplay mixed from all these things is fun but I imagine that requires a little more attention span from players that is usually obtained here - my own ludum dare entries suffers from the very same fate.

Overall is a top entry and one of my favourite from now.

Very polished (the amount of settings is extensive for a LD game).

I would have preferred the recipe book not to loop around, I found it difficult to get an overview over the recipes, because I thought "holy shit, how many recipes are there?!" before starting to look a the names.

Really fun concept ! It's like a management game but for cooking meals to your family! And with the time pressure and actual movements in the world's space!

I liked it, pretty fun and original, nice job!

I'd really make the ingredients physic affected and stuff in the kitcehn to add to the fun value and cooking rush panic mess ahah
And a sprint function, too, felt a little frustrating, but that may just be me

Graphics are really nice and the audio works well!
I'm really impressed by how you have GRAPHIC SETTINGS and REMAPPABLE CONTROLS FOR A FRIGGIN JAM GAME WTF

Sadly the game soft locked when I tried to finalize the meal for the 4th time :c
Also I don't see much creative use of the theme, you're bascially restarting the level again (until everyone is fully satisfied I suppose ?) but I guess it's there!

I couldn't find a secret ingredients, the rumors were false :'(

Congrats for this entry!

A simple and very fun game. I had a little difficulty understanding that I had to click on the "use" button to actually use the recipe, but then everything went well. The experience was very pleasant. It's nice to hear what each NPC would like to eat (or not), and then choose the best recipe that could fit with what they said. The graphics are simple but functional, and the sound is pretty cool. It's an interesting game concept, which I believe you could take forward, and do something bigger with. Good job.

Really nice graphics and sound. Also, some of the family member dialog when you put stuff in the pot was pretty funny. I did end up not using the F key even though the text above says to use it, but I was able to finish anyway.
