Pretty cool game! Very literally stuck in a loop xD although I was bored quite quickly due to there not being much else to do and the loan repayment seemed ludicrously large xD pretty neat game though. eyes went funny a couple times haha

I liked the concept, But the game feels a bit too easy because you're just driving pretty much in a straight line all the time. also the engine noise is a bit harsh.
But, i like the shop system and the fact you have a crippling debt. Nice job

I liked the overall idea of the looping track and the financial loop (too real!). The game played well, but I did have some inconsistency with the controls... the steering felt a little out of control at times, and I had an issue where only my w key worked and it made my car go backwards. Just thought I'd let you know, but otherwise it was really good!

That was surprisingly fun, even though it was super easy since the AI cars all seem to drive slower than you from the very beginning. Also, the upgrades between races felt unnecessary because the AI was so easy to beat.

The concept of a race in a wheel like this is cool, and I could see it being expanded with things like obstacles, pitfalls, power ups, etc. Nice job!

Great job making a complete game!

Even if the game is very simple and a bit broken, I had fun. Racing is always satisfying.

The drive feel is ok, the opponents AI seems pretty well done.
The menus are quite ugly but very clear.
Collisions with other cars feel wrong, that makes them even scarier haha.
You can skip laps with going back a bit behind the starting line and coming back. Sadly, this is the fastest way to complete a lap. However, doing this you won't collect any coins so this makes playing normally a better solution, which is great.

Thanks for the game 💕

That's odd. I thought I fixed that. Thanks for the report.

The straight line changes starting in track 3. The AI cars also get substantially faster as the game progresses; I've not been able to get better than 5th place on track 5.

Simple race game with low-poly graphics, very clever twist, an endless loop of debts. I think that 100000 dollars of debt is a bit too much, but still it was a fun game.

@coda-highland to be precise, I think you have to go back about 5 meters, right where the tracks has a strange split on the sides. As said, it is not a real bother, just wanted to point it out to help you!

Nice game, played it a bit longer than I should have. A bit annoying that the AI cars get ludicrous fast fairly quickly so instead of updates I just should have payed of the loans, was stuck in the last three places the rest of the races...

I liked the simple but effective retro style. It would be cool to see the tracks developed a bit futher, but it is impressive getting such a polished complete project from a single person!

One annoying bug I noticed was the music not looping, meaning in later levels I would be driving around just listening to the engine :c

Okay, that's really weird. It's worked for everyone else. Can you tell me more about your setup? What browser, what operating system? The only thing I can see that might potentially cause the issue you're talking about is if Unity's DSP code doesn't work right on some platform.

@coda-highland windows 10, Google Chrome, all fairly up to date (pc built last month). I'll give it another go tomorrow and see if it was just some weird one off issue

I like your idea and game mechanism. Simple and easy to handle. It's a funny way to earn money. And I always fly off the runway and make me laugh a lot haha!

Just given it a second attempt on my work PC, the the music doesn't loop there either so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong  It's only really noticeable after 3-4 races, but later in the game you'll end up doing 2 or three laps with no music

This was fun, collecting the wheels and trying to stay on a straight line at the same time. And those debts breathing down my neck ;) The loop tracks felt nice, I just wished at times there was sth like a boost or a HUD that told me where the others are (I guess I've been affected by some other racing game too much). Realizing that the other cars stayed on track, crashed at times and restarted purposefully, it is incredible (to me as a newbie) how you managed to finish this during the jam. There seems to be so much going on that I am not even really aware of. Impressive!

@blaster391 Hmm, that's odd. I can't figure out what's wrong. Thanks for checking, at least.

@nyubi I'm definitely not a newbie. :) I've been programming for over 30 years. I like teaching, though, so if you want any pointers you can feel free to reach out.

I really liked the music, but for some reason it didn't loop on the later rounds. The car "model" was simplistic, but I find it really funny to think that these future people are seriously racing in these boxy vehicles. :joy: Playing this felt a little bit like riding a rollercoaster, I wonder how this would feel in VR...
