TIPS:

  • You can jump on platforms that your clones are holding
  • Enemies take time to reload after shooting
  • Don't be afraid to die

CONTROLS

  • WASD - Move
  • SPACE - Jump
  • Hold R - Restart Level
  • F - Kills you and resets the loop
  • E - Pick up item

STORY:

Picture this: you are an aspirational member of one of the biggest drug cartels around the county. Smuggling drugs, assassinating opponents and making sure snitches get stitches is your daily bread; everyone knows you are unstoppable.

Then you actually get stopped. By a bullet.

But they take your brain and they put it in a robot frame, and you actually cannot be stopped (again).

Now all you can do is work endlessly for your big happy crime family. You think, "this sucks," but then there's this plasma gun for a hand they got you. The grind continues.

great job! Interesting game and approach. I would lower the opacity of some ghosts to better differentiate myself from my clones from the past. But besides that - enjoyable as hell!

Really good game, I loved the graphics tbh, the fourth stage is kinda hard but it was still really fun!

Cool concept! I think the first level could have been a little more helpful in explaining the mechanic. I think you also need to solve the problem of having to wait a long time for your clones to get into position, for longer chains of actions that need loops to solve.

Love the style and art, and game is pretty polished overall.
The idea is pretty standart though.

The platforming in first level would be better, if last jump was a bit easier - lost 3-4 clones at this last point which is pretty demotivating at first level.

I tend to kill myself rather than pick things up but apart from that a really neat and polished game.

Was unable to load in Chrome. I did manage to load in Edge (of all things).
Could not progress beyond the first scene where you pick up the plank.

Love the art a lot! The first level takes a bit of trial and error to get through, but I guess that's the idea. Good job.

live the idea!

It was fun, but I found I could mess up a level enough to where I was really wishing I could reset it. I don't know if I was missing something there. I also had some trouble with discerning who my current iteration was. The game was super solid though, and with a little tweaking it could be awesome!

A nice Game Idea, the graphics are really neat. For some constructive criticism, I would not put the main puzzle in Level 1 after a plattforming part where you can die to establish the mechanic more easy

I thought this was a pretty fun game! I did experience a moment where a clone died before I died during the recording. it continued to move and shoot while lying on the floor but wasn't able to press buttons. This only happened one time and was the only bug that I noticed. I definitely enjoyed my time with your game!

Excellent polish. Super idea, brought me back to Lemmings, where controlling multiple assets before they expire is actually the key to the level. Great puzzle work and it makes you learn patience. I love that successful jumps are not exactly 1 full leap, so you have to measure and actually PLAY the jump. Got to the 3 stacks (was that level4?) and wasn't sure if I was missing a log. Great game physics, good audio and clean control. My favorite so far. Excellent work all around! The 4.5 was just on the repetitive music. Each level, maybe vary the bebop just a bit. Great offering, thank you. Best of luck, and yeah--I'm going to play this one again even with thousands of other offerings. That's a win. Exactly the type of game I like. It's not just where you jump, it's changing the environment so you can jump to new heights!

Very nice polish, and while effectively the same mechanic as Braid it still had a good execution. My only complaint was how much time I had to spend waiting - each level just started becoming tedious. Might be a case of an interesting mechanic that just doesn't work as well in reality as it sounds like it would.

I had the same idea but at the end with the team we decided to take a different path, watching and playing this I'm really happy that someone did it and that is super well executed, great job guys! I had a nice time playing it!

Kept me going for a long time. Plenty of content to get through. Awesome work!

Best game I tried so far! Agree with @rein that sometimes you just have to wait a bit too long for some levels (reached the ones with the switches, level 6 or so), but it's really well done. Congrats!

Whoa, I had fun playing it! Though some levels are kinda hard. The idea seem to be pretty popular on this jam, but it's made well and the graphics are nice — it looks pretty polished overall. Great job!
