Gregg the egg has taken a life-threatening hit to shell in a breakfast warzone. We need your help to get him to the hospital without causing him any further damage. All you have to do is guide the two useless troops carrying his stretcher around the obstacles whilst avoiding anything that falls from the sky. And please don’t let Gregg roll off, he’s already leaking. Look, just keep him alive!

I liked the *look* and the feel of the game. Also the *idea* of moving two eggs is quite cool, I did never see something like this before.

Sadly my PC was a bit too slow in performance, which dampened the fun
a little. Also downloading half a GB took a while. But those two things are not the games fault (I think)

All in all, really *impressive*, especially given the timeframe!

Thanks for the comment @koljam :) when I finish work today I'm gonna add in the option to disable some of the post-processing stuff so it plays better on lower-end PCs. There might also be some settings in Unreal Engine I can fiddle around with to get the build size smaller.

Best entry so far, great idea and execution, love that cutscene, but was not easy to play on keyboard (maybe cause I have AZERTY keyboard ?)
Fortunately you setup the controller input so I could play.
I managed to win, but sometimes (especially at the middle pathway), we can't see what happens because the camera is in the wall.

A bit clunky controls, too easy to die. Still very fun, love art, mood of this game.

Awesome entry! I had a lot of fun puzzling about the controls.
The collider around the toaster were a bit frustrating. It felt like the graphical representation didn't fit the collider size so I died a few times at places which looked safe to walk on.
But overall great concept, fitting atmosphere and sound :)

How many medals are there?

Very nice entry. I love the graphics and the mood - the tension! :) . Gameplay is ok, but didn't manage to keep me for longer.

Thanks @gus-goucher. Did you see you can press F10 in the main menu to change quality settings? That'll help with the framerate.

This was a fun little entry. I loved the artstyle and the absurdity of it. Have to say that I didn't read too much of the interactions because I was too focused on controlling the eggs. The controls feel decent, although I wish I could move them back once I accidentally move them the wrong way. At times, it was very frustrating to bump the walls only slightly and just die. Overall, I liked it a lot, great job!

Humour and overall cinematic presentation are totally on-point! The audio also feels really complete.
Unfortunately the framerate really chugged for me, even on the low-quality setting, and I wasn't able to experience the gameplay properly.

What an amazing game !

The introduction, the sound and dialog make the game very immersive. I also like the post process effect.
The control with keyboard is little bit too tricky but whit the controller it works like a charm.
Sometimes, the camera is misplaced and makes the game frustrating, maybe improve the placement or let the player control the camera ?
I would realy like a couch coop mod !

Good job guys !

There are a lot of egg games for some reason, not that it matters for this game though, excellent job!
Best egg!

Oddly enough, we had a similar idea with a stretcher and eggs until we went for something totally different ! The game is fun thanks to the setup and the character lines. The art is amazing, didn't knew a simple voronoi would look that good as a ground ! The intro with the fliping board is also very inventive. The controls are smooth but the keybinding is so weird! How am i supposed to put 4 fingers like that ? Pushing left and right to go forward and backward also hurt my poor brain. The gameplay is fun but the eggshells (hehe) are falling too fast, i barely had the time to notice the shadow that the thing was falling. The text boxs were also really big and sometimes prevented me from seeing the eggshell's shadows. Overall you did a tremendous and creative work, well done !

Great models and animation, great sound. It was a little bit frustrating, when you would die randomly from mortar and had to restart from the beginning, maybe some check points would have helped. Good job all around, well polished!

Graphics, audio and humor were all splendid! The controls quite unique and I ended up using both hands, one for forward backwards and the other for rotations. Once I got the hang of that way of playing it felt quite natural, but would have made more sense if it was A + D and J + L with how I played.

I didn't play it to the end even though I would have liked to, but I got to the key? behind the toaster and then I didn't really spot where I was supposed to go from there even if I got there several times. The second reason was that while there were auditory queues for where the eggs were coming, it felt like my only strategy was to keep moving (which maps badly with being confused about where to go).

I think it would have been nice with some visual queues, like an egg's shadow indicating where the next bombing was going to occur.

Great work though! Really a first class entry.

This was really well done! congrats on the fantastic art and music direction. The gameplay was fun and engaging but I felt like the falling eggs were a bit too difficult to avoid and made the game slightly frustrating. Simply having to avoid obstacles was quite challenging in itself :)

I love the art and the retro touch. I found the game quite difficult, as eggs often falls right on me, but overall the game is fun. Very good job, congrats !
