The impact of the final memory could have worked better if it wasn't expected. The game description kind of hints at this. The choice of music and the environmental sounds worked well. The ambiences, though, should have been faded in and out as you enter and leave the relevant areas: they start and end abruptly, resulting in clicks in the audio. Changing small details about the 3D models you reuse could help add variety to the game world, too. For example, the slides could be different colours, etc. I enjoyed the calm and ease of the gameplay, and it nurtures the right frame of mind to be emotionally impact of the memories. It seems, since you opted out of the audio category, that you did not make the music yourselves, but it would have been a great touch if the music practice melody fitted with the game's underscore (in the same key, in time with the rhythm, etc). This would really enhance the emotional impact of that scene. I wasn't able to replicate it though, weird.\n\nI took a peek at your project, and I think it may have something to do with using OnTriggerExit; That's always a much harder thing to get the reasoning right for then OnTriggerEnter...\n\nAnd now that I'm looking more, I also notice that the colliders are not all on the same height, and you teleport the player by setting transform.position, only changing the z position. You should move objects that have rigidbodies using rigidbody.MovePosition. People sometimes falling through may well be fixed by those two things.","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Ayxs","author_uid":"1001307","time":"2020-10-14T20:33:15Z","epoch":1602707595,"modified":1602749470,"text":"@ghuyajil Thank you very much! I actually did not know about `Rigidbody.MovePosition`. I will test this out in the near future. The use of `OnTriggerExit` was necessary since for some reason Unity triggered the `OnTriggerEnter` every frame. I chose to use `OnTriggerExit` as it already took very long to debug. I know TriggerEnter is much better choice overall.\n\nThanks again for taking the time to look at this! Also, I think the most easy solution would just be one big collider for the floor level, as you have no height differences anyway (and even if you would, you'd have a base ground level you could never fall through ;)","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Leon Oost","author_uid":"1160605","time":"2020-10-18T11:35:43Z","epoch":1603020943,"modified":1603020943,"text":"I don't know what to say after playing this game.
