Escape the Loop is multiplayer, online and persistent. Grab some friends and drop in for a hide-and-seek brawl where you work with your team to gain enough points to win the round.

Earn points by landing on other players or finding the hidden exit. First team to 25,000 points wins the round and the game resets. If you need help finding the exit, simply remain still for 5 seconds and the number of connections between you and the exit will be displayed.

500 Points - Escaping through the hidden exit
5 Points - Land on another player

Pretty neat! i do wish there was more depth to the gameplay, and it doesn't seem to fit the theme that much, but it was pretty entertaining if a bit lonely. very cool, could become a great .io game with audio and more depth

This was a lot of fun, and a very cool concept! I agree that this could become a great .io game with some audion and a few finishing touches

Ofcourse I'll pick hexagon! There is not choice!

Thank you for making a game with my favourite shape in it.
A little more polish, sound, in game tutorial (controls), and this could be a thing!

Wow crazy effort to pull such a game, with multiplayer O.o I hope you made post LD version with just a bit more polished graphics and effect, maybe some more features, you are onto something here.

Love the idea, but oh-so hard! I keep dying before I know it because the bots move so swiftly. Maybe if you had multiple lives before you respawned or something to ease the shock of getting hit, but there's definitely something there!

Any multiplayer game for LD will have my instant admiration. This one is also very well polished. Great entry.

Both multiplayer and HTML5, automatic tip of the hat to you! :)

Also a neat game concept overall, looks like you are going to need to buy an .io domain

I have to echo the accolades above, the technical accomplishment is incredible. It pains me to say it but the controls are *really* fiddly. I'd love to play a more polished version of this in the wild, though.

Cool concept, and you got a lot done for a short game jam. I'm not totally convinced by the core gameplay, clicking on nodes isn't that fun but there are some interesting things going on here.

Probably the first multiplayer game I played on Ludum Dare. Great and very creative concept(haven't seen anything like this so far). The game feature is well designed and nicely done.
