Atmosphere was great. Did a good job putting the player in the right mood. The looping stair mechanic was cool as well. I wish there was some more guidance as to what it is the player is supposed to do.

@zackavelli Thank you for your feedback we fixed the issue with the indicators. I think it is more clear what to do right now.

Nice choice with the reduced camera and sounds to enhance the mood !

Funny game! This horror game mood ... fantastic. I have also to add that more guidiance would be nice in the beginning. Big thumbs up. :-) Great game guys.

I was wondering when I will be playing a P.T. clone. So you guys got some interesting stuff happening. I just wished there were a bit more sound design involved to add to the atmosphere. I also agree with @zackavelli a bit more player feedback would be great. Great effort.

Very fun and creepy game! I love the looping rooms and restricted view - nothing is better than looking to the side, seeing glowy red eyes and knowing you're screwed. Great job.

My pc can't handle the graphics but I've seen the gameplay thanks to my friend. The atmosphere was spooky (and loopy haha ;) ) The game fits well to theme. Good work!

Creating that kind of spooky experience with a short gameplay is amazing!

Great game. The atmosphere was really dense. At first i thought "wait, you're showing the monster too soon!" but then i thought "it's a comedic relief to not overwhelm the player". I couldn't find the key tho but I really tried hard - maybe a glow or a sound that will indicate it? Other than that great short horror game!

This game needs way more ratings!
It was terrifying... I wanted to switch it off the moment I started playing!
Not because it's bad, but because it's so good at being scary...

The silence with the little bit of noise and static in between really did a good job at keeping me on the edge of my seat.

I was unable to complete the game unfortunately, cause I might get heart failure.

Good try to make a horror game! I have no idea how to win at this... as soon as the monster stars going around, there isn't really any way tot search for anything anymore. As soon as I'm in a room with just one door, it's almost a guaranteed game over. That thing has some reach! I liked the detail of the glowing eyes. Helped to see it from some distance and turn the other way. Other than that, the graphics were ok. I think the visual effects masked a lot of the rough assets. So, good call! I think you could've left out the huge cross hair. There was not shooting, was there? No need for those immersion braking pixels! The controls were tight and frame rate was perfect, no qualms here. The sound design could use some more work to terrify the player a little more, keep them on the toes.

We also tried ourselves at the horror genre... maybe you wanna try out our game as well? :) I clicked on yours when I saw that you attempted horror as well. Always good to see how others tackled the genre.

Cheers!

Wow, so creepy. The atmosphere is prefectly done. Also, very nice graphics, even if low colors range and all that pixels were so horrible to see. Next time, I'll play it in the dark

Played it live on https://www.twitch.tv/fatsheep__ Very spooky game, loved the impossible architecture aspect of this, made it even more creepy. I felt like once the monster spawned it got a bit too fast paced. With some more rooms and more depth to the monster AI i think this game could be a pretty solid horror experience.

If the you are afraid of the dark, this game may be scary. The monster was kinda cute and I want to hug it more then run a way form it. The looping floors was well done, and it fits the jam theme. Overall is this a okay jam game.

Not my kind of game but very moody and I can tell that lots of work went into all the 3D models. Sadly I didn't quite know what to make of it 😅 Anyway, here's me playing it on my stream:
