Not bad for a first try! I managed to crash the game! I think I found all batteries and then the game suddenly stopped. I got a little confused trying to understand which buttons I could press and which ones I couldn't.

I like the kind of puzzle feel to this game. It's kind of a trial and error thing. Each play through I had, I understood a little more about the game and how it works. It was really challenging to keep the battery powered even when I had the idea figured out pretty well. I think the key is learning where the batteries are and grabbing them in the right order. Great job on this man!

Unfinished or not, the game play is pretty solid and engaging! I felt encouraged to explore the corners and crevices of the map to find batteries and resources and almost each spot on the map had some purpose. Although, the white on white made it hard to see some things or read text, but still manageable.

One weird thing that occurred for me was that SteamVR would boot up whenever I booted up this game. I'm not sure if that was a game thing or something on my end.

Haven't ever played a puzzle game where you have to outlast the clock, interesting idea. Great for a first try.

I enjoyed it. Reminded me of those old PS2 games where you needed to pick up different resources to advance. Sensitivity was way too high and there was no apparent setting for that. Also, I needed to adjust my screens brightness to be able to see anything. Overall solid first entry with just the right scope, good work!

Cool animaton of the main character. I find the minimalistic artstyle fitting for this kind of game. The timer is a bit short for my taste, I always died before I could manage to pick up all the batteries. Cool first LDJAM.

True, the game crushed several times, when I tried to put batteries in the generator. But speaking of the experience before the crush, the game feels pretty nice. Animations and plastic of main character are priceless and mechanic of using portals seems to be a very interesting idea. Hope you will fix the crashing problem, so that we could play it more.

Fun little puzzle game! Did find it a bit hard to know what all the buttons did, but I quite liked the idea behind the game.

In my opinion its a good base to develop something interesting upon, but this version is kind of plain. I'd like to see some narrative and other things like music/more audio. But otherwise its a really good first entry! :D

I really liked the game, it took me some time to understand how what to do with the shards (I had to retry once or twice). Nice game for a first game jam experience.

Nice job! I didn't know what to do with the shards at first but then I saw that I could recycle them. Although I wish there was an indicator if I had resources or not. Great Submission overall!

I liked the game, it is unfinished but is actually playable and interesting, and the fact that it is unfinished gives it a special vibe that I liked :) Maybe a post-jam version could be interresting ;)

Also, if you don't use q or z, you can map them to left and up, so that azerty keyboard don't have to change layout to play :)

The game idea is simple and okay fun. The gameplay is not perfect, but it is okay and it is actually pretty good for a first jam game.

very nice idea! I didn't make it far honestly, but I feel like the run speed should be the default walking speed, as I was always running anyway.

Spawning the player at the generator and recycler with one battery and resource could have helped to convey the objective of the game. Otherwise, very good first LD.

Its a cool idea, gameplay is simple but efficient. It needs some polishing and would love to see some more graphics even if its just coloured materials but great first try!

There are some nice secrets-like-things, and the animation was great, but I didn't understand how to use the recycler in the beginning. And the music didn't fit.

@pagetb hey thank you for trying!! I found the issue (I had to convert it and needet a software to do it)
Thank you very much tried out your game and for its simplity i really liked the gameplay...
Had to get a little used to it but so far really nice , i liked the hidden rooms and items!
The music was calming and i thought matched well to the game itself.

Great job!

It was a little weird. I would add some inventory or an indication of the number of necessary elements. After several attempts, I began to find it as a simple puzzle game and that’s good. Minimalistic design reminded me about "Superhot". Keep learning!

Your game has an interesting concept. The animations were nicely done and the sound effects were well placed. I think you went a bit overboard with the post-processing though, I found the motion blur to be disorientating and took away from my enjoyment of the game. It would also be nice if there was more feedback from the game when something happens. I had little way of telling that the materials being recycled actually did something until I went and checked the output. (Maybe another sound to indicate processing?) Other than that, I think you have a solid concept! :)

Not very challanging, for a puzzle: just explore the map, power the generator, and keep doing that until the doors opens...

Honestly i didn't like it very much, but it's very well done for being your first game... Good Job!!! 👍

I felt like I was a beach casually collecting things to recycle ;) As you continue to work on this game and improving it I recommend on adding an object system. Something real simple like one line that says "collect battery" and then "recycle battery" to help guide players as they get to understand the game loop. :)

It was really not bad at all for the first game. The puzzle part is not very challenging but everything seems to work as intended. A solid piece of jam work!

It ended rather abruptly for me - it just stopped, went away. I'm not sure if that was a crash or a way this game says "the end"
