Very fun game! My high score is 17 on game a, and 15 on game b. I always enjoy seeing fresh takes on snake.

Great game. Gets much harder around about 12 snakes. The level of polish is pretty incredible, and the song is great, love how it fades out when you pause. Awesome work!

Very stylish game. Also, I like how it blanaces itself by making the enemies bigger as you grow. Because they are you.

Absolutely loved the level of polish, style and soundscape. Really impressive for a jam game imo.

The concept is also very good - simple yet rewarding gameplay :)

I think this could be a nice mobile game too if you can make e.g swipes easy enough to use for controls.

This game is a gem. Simple, original, beautiful and stylish. I have not a single thing to mention that I think could be improved. Congratulations!

This is just awesome, probably the best game I have played this jam! Simple, great idea and polished execution. 5 stars!

Solid reiteration of snake. Spot-on execution of the theme. Looks like easy entry on Switch for me! Well done!

Hahahahaha, SHAKES SNAKES SNAKES. That got me somehow.

But other than that, yes, nice snake reimagining in the theme, good job :)

A truly masterpiece. Pretty decent reimagination of the classic snake game, more polished and challenging, congratulations!

Great game ! Really well polished and a solid concept :D
Would love to play it on switch or mobile to pass the time !
Even though you improved the accessibility for color blind people (and i praise and thank you for that, it's not often), I still have trouble to see the difference between snack and snakes :D
Good job though !

Good twist on a old favorite. Can't really think of what to improve because the original snake feels like somewhat of a perfected game. :D

Really fun and innovative! Some animations would've been fine but graphics look cool and simplistic anyway.

Great game that is innovative and improves on the old classic game of snake. Also fits the theme great!

I got 20 points, I'm not the best, but damn I'm still good

I loved the art style, and the following snakes was an interesting spin on the genre. I was curious what would be the optimal strategy for filling the field. With that said, snake is still kind of just snake. I wonder if there could have been more interesting things happening to keep my interest. Still, it was a delightful spin on a familiar classic. Thank you for the game.

Awesome work! Very clever and original take on a classic, nicely presented and satisfying to play. Could maybe use a little more juice, but otherwise a very solid game! I scored 18 on both games :)

Nice take on the snake premise. Really enjoyed having to think differently about the mechanics. Visuals were great, felt super polished. Audio sounded satisfying. Great work as usual.

I tried so many times to get 20 points, but alas 19 was my high score (on mode A, which I enjoyed the most. On B my record was 17). Very cool take on the theme, I have seen a lot of snake games but never anything like this. It's surprisingly difficult, I tried a lot of different tactics, such as doing a lot of loops around and around to try to manage the clones. But in the end one of them always turns right onto you haha.

The way that the difficulty curve is implemented is really smart, it's easy to understand and makes the game feel a lot more "fair". The visuals are simple, but nice, great use of shaders!

Overall a fantastic entry!

Nice job with the polish!

Game B felt kind of confusing because snakes would disappear? Not sure if I missed something there.

Kind of want to see an AI try to beat this now...

So many really nice touches in this game - the chromatic aberration on all the text, the screenshake when you hit something, the way even the music fits the theme, the way the menus and Game Over screen have the music just slightly muffled... I'm very tempted to spend a while delving through the source code and find out how you even do half of those things in Love2D. Plus, a very fun game!

Great twist on the classic snake game. And everything felt really polished, good job!

(I got 23 on Game A and 21 on Game B; it gets really hard lol)

Awesome execution. Just a really good snake variation, not anything missing or anything I would change really. I like the animation on the grid tiles and the subtle effects on the red/green blocks. It's a great example of what juice should be, not super distracting. The 2 game modes are pretty interesting. A is more coherent, but I like the look and feel of B since it's more "loopy".

Solid! Good twist on the classic game. Music and graphical effects come together very nicely. I flinched hard at the sound and shake when dying, every time. 😅 Feels very polished overall. Really cool!
