Keep the Party Alive by pedrorocha

[raw]
made by pedrorocha for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Keep the party alive is game about, well, keeping a party alive. The idea is that you're throwing a party at your house, but your guest have a very different party taste than you. So, you have to find what kind of music, drinks and food the guests like, so that they can have fun in the party. This is our first game and it was made using Unity. Unfortunatly, we couldn't do everything we wanted (and even forgot some stuff) but the game is, at least, done. We hope you have fun and please, give us your feedback on the game!

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately we were unable to implement a good level design, we will work on that in the future.

Nice idea, nice graphics, game concept is interesting but needs a little more work - found it a little confusing too.

like the other said it's confusing.. and yes it is..

so, in this game to make everyone happy you need to provide foods for everyone based on their liking, but it seems impossible for me because the foods/items are less than people in the party and the fun status not increase significantly tho.

so, this make me wondering is there any trick to win this game? :hushed:

Hey, twinsies! We had the same idea for our games!
I liked the character sprites. The idea is also good, but I had trouble figuring out what to do. I couldn't get the meter to grow. Still, great effort!

Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

I just dont understand what I was supposed to do. I understood the general idea, but having one single meter to represent the fun at every single table and of every single guest just makes it impossible to find out and what doesnt. I would recommend having one meter for every table or for every human at the party.
Now for the good:
I like the graphics. I also like idea of being the host of a party and trying to keep it alive using trial and error.
Anyways, good first attempt

I really like the concept for the game, but it is a bit difficult, and the fun meter is a bit confusing. I would recommend improving on the UI, so that you have a different fun meter for each music, food and drink, also I think that the customers come a bit too fast, that makes the game a bit too hard, so either increase, the health or decrease the rate at which the customers spawn, but overall it was a great concept, and the execution was pretty good

I was attracted by the cover image hhhh, that's really good art : ) I think some of the controls and be more explicit, but overall, it's a nice try.

Looked nice, but I have no idea what I was doing. How does buying things affect the fun? I got to zero fun pretty easily lol
