I'm Coming To Get My Liver by phixnay

[raw]
made by phixnay for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

This is my first Ludum Dare, and my first few hours using Twine to make something. More of an interactive story than a game -- this is how I wrote "games" on my TI-83+ back in the day.

Just a fun little interactive story that my Dad used to tell me. Not too serious :)

First, I weirdly love good punctuation, and boy you got it. Kudos.

Second, it's a cool little story. Gave me some "In a Dark, Dark Room" vibes. Short, sweet, and to the point. Enjoyed it!

Very short, but nice, clean writing. I like the trope of using the player response selections to just kind of add on to the descriptive text. It feels more immersive somehow.

Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'm honestly surprised and happy that anyone played it \:D

And thanks @pilarius for the advice about the thumbnail. I was having trouble in firefox, but switching to Chrome it worked. I think ;)

@phixnay It works and what a beauty
I had some goosebumps playing your entry, good writing nice contrast of text and background. Sadly there was no different ending. But other than that good entry :)

Yeah Philarius, in this one, the ghosts always win \:p

I've played some other great games that *are* interactive, like Seedship, which inspired these games. I had some other ideas about gamifying storytelling, but I have a lot to learn about coding for next year!
