If I had to make one recommendation It'd be to allow for rotation via keyboard, I had trouble getting the hang of the controls (a lot of it is on me, since I only used a track pad, but using A/D would be make this easier to play for people who lack a proper mouse)
The controls took a little bit of getting used too, but once I got the feel for it it was pretty fun!
Great job all!
Graphics are awesome, really like it!
Anyways, i loved the art, and it is fun to play and try to beat your own score!
Can be easily built upon adding a few mechanics and enemies.
Great game!
The game felt a bit easy, so I tried to play it without shooting and only collecting stars, but that didn't work. I would've actually enjoyed if it was possible to do that as a way to play the game on hard mode. :D
I didnt't feel the need to go back to the person after using the 4 guns as i could just hold the LMB down and slightly scroll left and right and the astroids werent even making it onto the screen anymore as they'd already been destroyed.
I feel you may just need a little more balcne testing, otherwise i like the idea and could see it being expanded :)
Good job :)
At the start I took a bit of time to understand the gameplay but after that it was easy.
Only thing is that I felt that the gameplay was a bit less, but hey its a jam game. Maybe it can be extended post jam, more features and stuff. Maybe multiple planets to manage? or a basic longer health bar, difficulty levels, various asteroid and star types  endless possibilities :p :muscle:
The controls are little bit awkward. Maybe it can be improved by experimenting with different control schemes. Try to use keyboard, it can give the game more arcade-like feel.
I had some issues trying to figure out how to switch between the planet and the astronaut, and tough that i should save the astronaut from colliding with the meteors and firing towards the stars with the cannons would collect them the same way as the protagonist Did...
Maybe you should try to play a different VFX / SFX feedback when a star is destroyed by the cannons this way!
Some improvements from my point of view:
You could also add more background layers to add more depth to the space, like star dust layers and meteors spawning within random sorting layers to look like they are all on a more volumetric place!
there's a lack of sound effects, mainly for the character itself, maybe add some jet pack pushing the astronaut around the orbit, some oxygen loops from the space suit and an ambience that could reinforce the environment, like the reverberation and some electronic equipments "blips, blops and blups" echoing like old sci-fi movies!
I felt the controls were really hard to get used to, but the basic gameplay loop is fun overall.
Great work you guys!

But overall it's a good entry, nice job!
You should add different kinds of enemies, and let the player collect different kinds of items, to improve shooter or abilities.
Good job.

But, if you are not in a hurry, you can win by practically doing nothing. Put the astronaut somewhere near top of the screen and the stars will gather themselves in time, no attraction cannon needed. And you can just keep holding the lmb down and move your mouse willy-nilly around - nothing will be able to even get close to you. Not that I am advertising this way of playing ;) - but it is certainly possible. And it probably shouldn't be.
Great particle work!
Everything feels really nicely polished
