I think I glitched it in the round I won -- is there a way to kill the others before the wizard, or do you have to focus solely on the wizard? Nonetheless, this was fun! I love the effects :ok_hand:

This was actually reall fun! Adding a bit more visual feeback as to what each power does and how it works would really help out. Great job - keep up the good work! (And maybe add suppoer for WASD next time)

That was really fun. I liked having all of those big spells you could only use once--I beat the game several times just to try different things out. At first it felt a bit like a puzzle trying to figure out who to kill first, and I think it would have been cool if you leaned more into that.

The visuals are fantastic. I love the hybrid 2D/3D style. And your music was stirring, thrilling!

It was a little unclear how the spells worked, how many charges one received, etc. WASD went funny. I imagine that's a localization issue? And the knight was a little too awesome at his job. How about a slow spell or a rend armor? That guy was a jerk.

Anyway, really enjoyed it.

The particles are nice and the music too. Well put together. I also like your interpretation of the theme

Very nice. Would love to play more levels against different parties. PS: I hated the tank :D

Overall: An interesting and fun idea, and executed really well.

Fun: Yeah, I think it's a great and fun idea. I had quite a few goes, with some successes and some failures. I managed to do it by getting in close and using a lot of Fireball II. But it was kind of luck of the draw whether I could get in close enough or not. I never figured out what that firefly-making spell does. Good job with that AI!

Innovation: Yeah, it's an original and creative idea.

Theme: Yeah, you turned it on its head!

Humor: Well, I laughed, having been on both sides of this situation in RPGs I've played.

Nice game, i had a hard time understanding how the spells cooldown worked (sometimes it felt a little bit bugged ?) but anyone great game feel, you feel strong, and when you figure out how to use the different spells on the different ennemies it gets quite easier. Cool entry :)

Very fun game! It would be really nice to see some more levels though, maybe in a post-LD?

Really liked the entry! Took me a little bit to understand the cooldown system but I really liked it and felt it was quite intuitive after a bit.

Also really love the concept. I love games where I'm the boss against a party, it's great fun. The spells looked great, too, the particles and sounds were all excellent so it genuinely felt great to use my abilities. I felt like I was in some kind of Final Fantasy XIV instance (specifically the Warrior of Darkness fight). The only thing that ruins it for me is that with all of the wonderful kit and the enemy party to fight, I only have one real objective, and it's just too easy! Once I understood the spell system I just spammed Fire II repeatedly till I won. Mixing it up was far more fun!

I think it would benefit instead with having just a health system rather than the time limit of the wizard.

Really well done! Genuinely had fun.

Very nice game, and fuck the warrior/paladin ,this guy is annoying. Music sfx and vfx are cool. Having multiple levels with an upgrade system for our boss could make a very nice little game. Good job !
