it is very nice, the art is bautifull and the sound effects are clever. that said I have found a minor bug: when I first started the game in full screen the cursor was stuck on the bottom of the screen but I managed to fix it by barely being able to press the "minimise" button and going fullscreen again. it did not affect the game experience and I loved it so much good idea, good job guys! :)

So cute and funny! The art is marvelous, maybe the colours were a bit too muted, making peripheral vision almost useless. I played in medium difficult and although the hype bar was at 90% the cat seemed sad, I was unsure if i wan or not. The tutorial is well paced and even when it seems overwhelming I had no issues while playing. A perfect combination between cozy and frenetic. Awesome job!

I love this game omg! This is so fun!
I skipped the tutorial cause I hate long tutorials, and at first I thought this was going to be hell to understand what is going on, but it's actually really intuitive to understand!! It also really sums up an indie game developper's life in a really fun and cute way :D

Hype Dream really makes you feel like stressed out ludum dare developer.
Seriously though very nice graphics and aesthetic, which would be comfy were it not for what kind of simulation it is being used for.
Once you get used to the controls it's kinda entertaining, multitasking stuff all the time. I'd say it's lacking entertainment or more robust rewards for getting good hype.

Also no idea why it had to be gondolas but that's pretty funny.
In fact many of the details are at least somewhat funny, good job with all of those.

Wow! I dont usually go out of my way to download games the first time I see them, but I just had to for this one - its beautiful! Absolutely everything was stunning, and taking the time to stop mashing buttons to read all the hidden jokes was hilarious. Definitely one of the best games ive played so far.

@zachary-rodrigue thank you for the comment! glad you enjoyed our little game! thank you for a bug report, we're uploading a patched version right now, it should be fixed, let us know if not ^^

@le-slo thank you for your comment! we're happy that you enjoed it <3 we patched the game and uploaded the better one! it turned out that medium mode was harder than hard mode (lol) so we fixed that, you should be able to get a happy cat this time! also remember to kill the bugs, they are pretty important for the final score...

@730 thank you for your honest opinion and glad to hear that it was fun to you! we did the first patch (mostly bug fixing) but some more C-O-O-L-N-E-S-S when you have a high hype is a neat idea! we'll add it in next patch, thank you so much!

What a charming game and a unique concept! The music was wonderful for developing the vibe, and the colour palette was surprisingly soft for such a stressful time management game - i certainly felt nervous at first with the depth of the tutorial, and I'm not sure if there are still some things I was missing when I was actually playing, but the gameplay was quite smooth once I got into it! Typing back the emails was positively adorable - I loved the feedback from them.

An excellent entry!

Very nice game, comfy indeed, cool artstyle and design. Replayed it a couple of times just to take a closer look at everything. The tutorial presentation can be made a little cleaner, I feel, but once in game it all starts to make sense. I enjoyed very much overall.

This game is phonemonal. The art is absolute incredible, amazing job.
The gameplay itself is hilarious, I was immedaitely overwhelemed and anxious, but a mixture of the cute art and calming music kept me playing. :D

My only feedback (and I mean it, because as far as game jam's go this is pretty perfect) is that the end of the game didn't really give me any feedback on how well I did. The cat was sad, but I wasn't sure why, or if it actually had anything to do with my performance.

Overall though amazing job, I hope to see more from this team in the future. :D

@briibot thank you for an in-depth comment, we're glad you enjoyed our small *hype dream* :D and lol long tutorials are often scary so we're glad that our wasn't so scary to stop you from playing xD it was supposed to be shorter but we ended up getting some feedback from friends that they're not sure what some things do so we extended it to cover everything in-depth ^^

@ryzy27 thank you for your feedback, glad you enjoyed it! well, the effect of "i don't clearly know what should i press now" was intended as we wanted to keep the game kinda chaotic and leave some stuff that wasn't explained in the tutorial to be discovered via gameplay :D is there any specific button/place you wasn't sure is UI or not? we're going to do a second patch to this game so we can make this element more visible as an interactive part!

Wow... How did you manage so many assets in such a timescale? I guess it speaks to your direction. As a matter of fact, the rest of the game screams "DIRECTION", too! I was really impressed by the cohesion of the game, and it's quite understandable that teaching the game had to be in textbook fashion or without much context given its existence as a Jam game. I can assume that part of the point is that the entire screen can start to blend together when managing many things at once, bu maybe increasing contrast on certain colors or borders would help make it clearer when a pop-up has appeared out of the corner of your eye.
Overall, though, a cool idea and really nice execution. It'd be interesting to see the minigames change over time, too!

@arden thank you! the color palette was an artistic choice and it's matching some of the popular "cute" artists on IG. We tested it on my friend with deuteranomaly (greetings Kano, if you're reading it! xD) and he told us that se sees everything fine. Tho I understand that some of the buttons may not seem visible enough.
Soo enough of my rambling - could you let us know which specific parts were not clear enough for you? We're planning an update but we need to know what exactly to fix. thank you so much and stay safe!

@roey-shap your comment really touched me personally as I was the director here  glad you like it! and the secret of a lot of assets and overall polish of the game is bpth matter of planning it out first (brainstorm, mockups, asset lists etc.) and I can say we also have a decent working speed xD (lol it probs sounds like boasting ;;)
thank you for your comments, we'll try to enchance some contrast in the next update. if we ever get funds or something to make it a real game, changing the minigames is a genius concept for sure (and a version to play on a two screens LOL xD) thank you so much and stay safe!

You did a great job at this!! It's a really cute game, the graphics are on point!! I really like multitasking games (well, I mean, I did also make one) and this was an awesome one. I think my biggest issues (nitpicks, really) were the length of the tutorial and maybe the fact that you can't move windows around (and close some?).

All in all, awesome game :)

Really beautiful art! The game itself is not that fun, unfortunately. The tutorial makes it seem like it is quite complex, but game is pretty much just about clicking. Wow, this was an absolute top tier game. Very fun gameplay, well polished, a helpful tutorial, difficulties that fit well (I first tried easy, then i moved on to hard and the increase in difficulty felt right). Also a fresh and intresting idea, it's not often that i see this kind of multitasking games.

The graphics were really cute and good. If i had to suggest a change, it would be to make the text stand out more. I felt like it fit together with the rest of the art *too well*, which is a problem with text as you want a contrast so it is more easily read.

Sound design was also on point, together with the graphics it created a very calming atmosphere that drew me in.

This game is so damn good in every aspect that i feel like i have to point out it's weakest part.

The connection to the theme.

And that is definetly not a problem with the game, it certainly didn't make it any less enjoyable, but I am supposed to rate it so i might as well explain.

I like the idea of keeping hype alive. But i don't think that the implementation of it is worth a 5-star in theme. That's because, to me, keeping something alive means that It's a constant struggle to keep it from dying, a constant struggle to give it one more breath.

I feel like the hype-meter kind of alienated the life part of keeping something alive.

I find it really hard to express my thoughts, but my suggestion would be to have some ui-thing where the player can see a crowd. And as long as there are people in that crowd, the hype is alive. But then some of them start to leave when the hype is falling of. But you know, that as long as you keep at least ONE person in the crowd, the hype is alive.

That would enable the player to connect more with the game, to constantly struggle to keep that last fan from leaving.

**I don't know if that made any sense**, I am tired and will go to sleep now.

Awesome game though!

@velvetlobster thank you and glad that you enjoyed our little game! And lol yes, Emily is away, I wasn't able to recall this game when I was designing it and my team was like "wtf is he talking about, what game". I was a bit inspired by this one, yes but mostly idea-wise as I forgot the game name.

@jenny-bourke @magus24 thank you for dreaming our *hype dream* <3

@invixel Thank you for in-depth comment! We're happy that you enjoyed it <3 As for the keeping the hype alive, there is actually a crowd-thing in-game (The Wobbler, "Twitch") in the bottom right corner where you can see your fans reaction to your game development.
However, I understand what you're talking about and I agree that a crowd (or maybe just a viewer's count that cannot drop to 0?) and the animal vievers leaving in case the hype gets really low would be a great improvement and a better way to implement the theme. Thank you so much for this comment, it was definitely eye-opening for me! So no worries, you did good, you stated the problem clearly and it makes sense. Goodnight uwu
