Welcome, youngling, to godhood. You'll live easy - after you've completed your tasks. Collect enough nature energy to build your Sacred Ground. Only then will you be able to retire.

Left-click to gather energy from entities, or drag entities to swap and rearrange them. Every time you do so, time advances - entities that are eaten more than they ate will die, and those with enough food will spread.

Entities with food to spare but no room to spread will provide double the energy.

Right-click to destroy an entity at the cost of half your energy (time will not advance). You can also right-click to cancel a purchase from the shop.

Left-click outside the map to open the Shop. The Sacred Ground has to be bought and placed on the map to win.

it took me 2 games to find a solid strategy to keep both the rabbits and the grass together until foxes came in hahahah had a lot of fun playing this game, but it's hard. If you like hard games just pick the challenge. you should be very thoughtful about every step you take because rabbits you know... they breed a lot
The game is well made. The thing that you need to keep at least 1 example of each entity on the board to progress make the game really tough to be finished. That's not necessarily a bad thing! I'm just pointing it out. The fact that it's hard it's just a plus :) well done

So cool! Love the pico look! A very thoughtful take on the theme. Thank you for unlimited energy- without it, I would not have unlocked the simulation's conclusion. I think you should make this game into a Ted talk.

This game was fun even though I had no clue what I was doing. I feel like the entities in this game could use a little more information on what they actually did (like for the rock, i did not know the radius and what it exactly did). But other than that i feel like this game was really polished and an interesting take on this theme.

Awesome! I love watching the game play out, I didn't see any explanation of how to skip the simulation and ended up waiting forever for each one to play out,

@akirassasin I found a bug that if you go to buy something and there is no room on the board, the game just kind of, stops.

Other than that Great Job! I played it for longer than I realized!

Interesting cellular automata concept, like the game of life but with a bit more fine-grain control.

Really cool concept and fun game. I managed to place a Sacred Ground with a Highest Stable Income of 1, stability is just boring hahaha. The whole game looks super clean and polished. It's interesting that you can basically move around as many things as you like during one step, it's just really annoying to make huge changes and I feel like this was intentional on your part and, like I said, is a really interesting way to punish this kind of strategy without any additional mechanics. Great job on the game!

Interesting concept and nice execution. The connection to the theme of this jam feels rather slim to me. The game runs smooth and feels polished. Some background music would really add to the atmosphere!

Great stuff, and really well polished. It's very interesting to learn how things interact. I admit I did get a bit impatient after I got to the eagles and cheated a bit to see the rest of the game. Could do with some music and sound effects, but other than that a really great game.
