Hanging by a Copper Wire by Pepijn
A platformer roguelike.
Story
Ido is a robot you found in the facility. As many things you have found there it was likely meant to be used in circumstances like this: desolate and radiated. It's very likely that facility was built to give shelter for the Blaze.
The robot had already entered power saving mode when you found it. the RTG had no fuel, and it was instead powered by a battery array on the wall next to it. all but 1 battery were bone dry, and the one that did function only had a few minutes of charge left.
You lay the robot on a table to get a better look, and see that it could help you get out of the facility. So you decide to head out and search for the required RTG fuel.
How to play
- Keep the power on using batteries. press X to interact with a power plug and insert a battery or repair the plug using a fuse.
- Exactly 1 backpack can spawn in the level, most likely in the leftmost columns (upcoming update changes this to the topmost rows).
- Find the RTG Fuel on the bottom most row, and bring it to the robot to win the game.

That said, in terms of gameplay it's best described as loose, from the combat to the objectives.
Specifically, the map was just to big and empty - once I actually found stuff, it was a chore to navigate all the way back to the robot, and when I found fuses my inventory was often already filled with batteries.
These are some legitimate critiques, but I actually really liked a lot about this game, I just thing real critiques are important. Positive rating from me!
coming up near the end of this week, depends on how fast I get the refactoring done.

Greato Jobu!
I will be adding a graphics downgrade option to the game ASAP.
I'm a programmer looking for a graphic designer or a team to team up and maybe work on new games, are you interested?
