Interesting art design! I think youve chosen the ambient sound effects well, I reallt felt myself getting into it, but what exactly are you supposed to do? The NPCs seem to be speaking gibbering "(^#(*^(".

@jag That is intended, if you keep playing, something will change. Thank you for trying it out. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Love the art style! However I wish I could walk faster, also the transitions like 'the next day' feels like its too long on the screen. also it would be nice if you could talk to the other npcs and interact with the world.

Interesting and very pretty game, could you share your ideas behind about the change of the ghostly figures to 'normal' people after some days?

I think there is an interesting little concept in here but I'm to stupid to figure out what to do, so I'm stuck at the IDE screen :(

@mattc Thank you for playing! My idea behind the NPCs changing, after the player quits his job, was that up to that point, the player character wasn't paying any attention to his co-workers, hence the silhouettes and garbled text when they speak. After he quits, he's happy; the way he views the hallway changes and he is actually seeing his co-workers.

@simex Thanks for trying it out! At the IDE screen, you are supposed to click on the red icons on the left side of the IDE screen.

Really liked the art style and the message behind it. Nice submission, just hoped the scene transitions were a bit faster. Well done

You didn't lie, something interesting did happen, and I get the symbolism.

Nice graphics style. Tbh I don't think I'd have patience to play until the end if the character wasn't as hot :P

@kr4ft3r Thanks for playing! Yeah, I definitely made the main loop and transitions too long.

I didn't play until something changed. I assumed that I got it after the first three days were seemingly identical.
If something is supposed to happen I'd recommended hinting that things can change earlier (maybe something small but noticeable/unavoidable in day 2).
Also, the transitions either needed to be skippable or shorten in length dramatically after each time you see them.
That being said, I really like the art style and sound.

I was just about to give up before i noticed. Wait, those people were not in color before. Nice story, maybe a bit too long before something happened. Also wish the fonts matched the games pixelart style.

The IDE was a little confusing; as a programmer I understand what it's supposed to represent but clicking it didn't feel like it was doing anything - the buttons flash, but otherwise don't indicate they've been 'completed'. Would have expected, both from an IDE and a game standpoint, them to become disabled once pressed.
Beyond that, played through 3 days with no apparent changes; ended up quitting because the transition times are sort of painful to sit through.

I couldn't exactly figure out what I was doing. I played through twice and get stuck once in the office. When talking to the computer it would pop up a display of code or something and then never go away. I'm sure I just did something wrong. Graphics looked good. Agree with others that transition should be skippable or faster

Ok. I love the artstyle. I just found the scene transitions were too long, and the game just wasn't fun. I can see the effort you put into this game, and maybe the boredom was intentional, but seriously. At least foreshadow the change.

Very nice art style and I love the message behind it. But there doesn't seem to be any sort of change in-between each scene, which fits the symbolism but with the long scene transitions, it just doesn't work very well in execution.

Cool take on the theme. I've seen several people get discouraged seemingly by the repetition needed before the story progresses. I've only completed the game to find out if there was anything there :D I think it's actually not the repetition that discourages people, but rather the long wait times and walking in between completing actions.

Did you use basketball noises to create the train noises? :D

Interesting take on the theme, although it wasn't really clear what effect my input had? I managed to get to the end twice, but I have no idea what I did to trigger the ending, whether it was something I did, or if I waitied long enough, or totally random?

I think giving the player some agency, allowing *them* to be the one that breaks out of the loop, that'd make breaking out more satisfying. I have to think many players quit thinking this was a game that never changed.
