Space Fight by LordDaniel

made by LordDaniel for Ludum Dare 46 (COMPO)

A Bullet-Hell game made for the jam. Quite simple, first time doing so I hope it's good.

For some reason playing it in the browser crashed my Chrome tab both times. I did download it though, and overall it was okay. There were some oddities, like I found it weird that when a single bullet from a group shot by an enemy went off screen, the whole group disappeared. It also seems too easy, like maybe the rate of fire from the player should be lowered a bit.

Nice bullet hell shooter. I like the snappy controls and the clear graphics. The colliding bullets from the enemies caught me more than once :-) Unfortunately I ran into an issue about 10 waves in where the enemy and I wasn't hit by bullets anymore. Also, it is quite easy if you just spray diagonally between waves :-) Nice entry

@despiciestboi Thanks you for playing!

@stefanie-leitch Thnaks you. Hmm. I did notice web doesn't work well ( it doesn't run at all in my end). I disabled it for now, maybe i will figure it out later. About the bullet's group disappearing, I will look on it ( it doesn't suppose to happen at all, it isn't even part of a "group").

@tomdeal Thanks for playing, and thanks for bug reporting, I probably won't fix it for this jam but I probably will reuse this code for a game later on..

@sthealthinator I could apply many things to make it look and play better. time is the issue  . Thanks for playing my game.

This was fun. A very true to form bullet hell. I like all the different patterns. I think it's too easy, but it's better to be too easy than too hard for a jam game definitely. Overall, not the most innovative, but still a fun game :)

I'm a sucker for bullet hell games so I had to give this a shot. The patterns are fun to dodge and the gameplay overall is quite solid. I would love to see more levels though, as I noticed that some of them repeat a lot. Some variations in the bullets themselves, like adjusting their speed or making them curve, would add to the difficulty of the game. Great job overall!

Nice game! Maybe the enemies could have an "invincible time" for a little while when spawning, because when you spam the shoot button it gets a bit easy lol also the spawn rate could be a bit higher given the fast pace of the game, same as bullets, just ideas! Good entry overall! Nicely done! :D

Pretty good for compo, this is the first bullet hell I've played in LD46 so far so congrats on that! Web build is a bit janky, it took a long time to load and firefox thought it crashed but I told it to wait and it eventually loaded. Each time I cleared a stage the game would freeze for 10+ seconds until the new bad guys appeared.

The stages are challenging, the ship looks really good, and it's compo after all. Good job.

The levels were pretty neat!

Nice minimalistic graphics!

I liked the level design.

There seems to be a bug with invincible enemy which cannot be killed.

And the game can be exploited by shooting before the next wave begins, so the enemies are destroyed right after spawning :)

I also miss there some sort of increasing difficulty.

How about at least some music next time? :)

Thanks for uploading, keep going!

And thanks for playing my game!
