Hmmm I can't seem to get the controller working.. im on mobile. Does this only work on the computer? I love the visuals and sfx

I see how these controls would be ideal for mobile but during jam judging it's difficult to test in a PC browser. That said, love the art and the humor.

@newbiedev thanks for trying, you can just hold down the screen to move the sock left or right on mobile

The controls felt almost useless. I was able to free my sock mate in the end but it seemed almost random movement. Quite a funny idea, though, and good use of the theme.

I love the art and sound in this! I couldn't figure out how to solve it though. It looked like I was moving one of the socks in mobile but the other was stuck in the middle and even if I went over it nothing happened?

thanks for playing @neonjeff, yeah its a tough game. If you get your sock over the stuck sock in the middle it will loosen, but you have to be there for a total of 7 seconds

@johnnyv ahhhh I didn't realize that! I just tried again and freed the sock! :)

Fun little game. I freed the sock, but I'm not sure if I was doing anything by clicking the arrows though, or it was just luck. The drawings and the handwriting were really nice.

Freed my sock mate wooop wooop! lovely rom com, nice graphics and audio - worked really well together. the audio was quite calming :) I would suggest making the controls a little clearer though! Wasn't sure if you had to use the mouse or keys. Got there in the end. Nice job, Well done!

At first I thought I am playing the sock in the middle. Tried to control it, didnt work, wanted to give up. But then I read the comments, understood I was doing something wrong.
Nice little input.
Kind of "hypnotizing" but really hard to control.

This is a cute concept and take on the theme, but I had trouble controlling the sock.

was testing on a computer
cute graphics and audio. I felt it mostly came down to random chance, I didn't feel like my input was that usefull. I think this is a good starting point!

Haha, I do like the innovation!
The controllers were a bit strange at first, and you hade to be a fast aimer to micro-manage the sock, but I managed on the second try :)

Cute concept but I would agree that the controls felt a bit weird and really random. I also thought it wasn't working as I thought I was the centre sock and ended up accidentally going outside the washing machine? Nice graphics and audio though! Possibly some feedback when you're freeing the sock would be nice even if it's just a little ding or the centre sock shakes more just so it's easier to tell when you're actually freeing. Really nice little game though!
