Witches want your black cat for their satanic rituals. Keep it alive!

WASD or arrow keys to move.

Space to dash in movement direction.

Survive until the timer at the bottom of the screen runs out, while witches spawn around you flinging deadly spells your way. Each level, witches become faster and learn a new spell.

Beat all 6 levels to win the game.

You can use [ and ] to lower and decrease volume, respectively (it's not displayed in-game).

Witch spells as they're added by level:

  • Level 1: Lightning Bolt and Fireball
  • Level 2: Fireball Wave (shoots a fireball up, down, left, and right)
  • Level 3: Explosion (small circular explosion near the player)
  • Level 4: Lightning Wave (lightning up, down, left, and right)
  • Level 5: Chaos Swirl (little chaos bolts in all directions)
  • Level 6: Mega Lightning Bolt (!!)

Fun little game with a theme twist! I imagine it would play much better with a controller :p

Simple, but more fun than I expected. I liked the variety of spells, it got harder really fast! The music was nice too, though I think the sound effects on the spells got a little annoying.

A fun little game where I can really show off my mechanical skills lol! I didn't find myself using the dash as often as I would have liked but it was great that it was there!

Liked the sound and the cute cat spirit. The first level could have been shorted since it was a little too easy.

Oh, this was fun! I actually quite liked the dash mechanic.

At one point I was able to stay still on a particular section of the screen for a while and didn't get any hits because everything was happening elsewhere, so maybe difficulty could benefit from a bit of tweaking.

Also, can I just say how cute it is the way the little guy holds the kitty!

Nice concept that makes for a fun game. Essentially a bullet hell where you can only dodge. Thought the difficulty ramp up was well executed and I had a fun time with this one. I'd recommend that when you beat the level it starts you on the next level that's unlocked by default so you can just press 'space' to continue vs. having to select the next level. Main reason being I played the first level twice on accident :smirk:

I'm not great at bullethell games but i made it to the sth level! Art was simple but nice and I feel like it controlled well. Good entry for compo!

A fun little game. I love the fact you've made the effort of having separate game levels to complete instead of just going "survive as long as you can". The graphics are nice, the sound is pleasant to the ear. One thing I'd change when it comes to gameplay is the hitbox size of the fireball - I felt like sometimes it damaged me even though it shouldn't. Other than that, everything is awesome. All attacks are well telegraphed, giving the player a good opportunity to react. Love it! ;)
